Route of the Zorita de los Canes castles 2 days

Guadalajara, like a good Castilian land, has different medieval castles that are worth knowing. With this guided program to do independently, you will discover some of the most important ones. You will only pay for one route, the other companions can come at no additional cost.

We will go from Guadalajara city to Zorita de los Canes, in search of these stone fortifications. You will be surprised by the great condition of some of them. Other castles, however, are practically in ruins.

The experience is designed to be done over 2 days.

We will not only limit ourselves to seeing the castles of Guadalajara, we will also discover the influence they had on the adjacent towns.

Furthermore, we must not forget that Guadalajara was, during the time of the reconquest, a border area between the great kingdoms (Castilla y León, Kingdom of Aragon and an area still controlled by Muslims). Hence its wealth in castles.
