Description of Hiking route through Guigui Reserve and Beaches 9h
This route along the west coast of the Island will take you to the wildest coastal places in Gran Canaria, it is a piece of route that will take you most of the day, but that you will wish never to end, since the landscapes in which you will star will make you feel a true adventurer.
We will meet in the La Rosa area of the Tasartico valley (La Aldea de San Nicolás) at 8 in the morning, with the first lights of the day we will set out towards Degollada de Aguasabina. From here we will observe the Guguy massif, within the Guguy Special Reserve.
We will walk among the ravines and coastal cliffs among the highest in the world, with more than 800 meters, from which to observe the entire reserve, in addition to being able to see Mount Teide from Gran Canaria.
From there we will descend to the beaches of the west of the Village of San Nicolás where we can swim or even with luck, spot a dolphin that is in the area. These beaches are only accessible this way or by sea, which makes this walking route through Gran Canaria even more special.
Once we have enjoyed the beaches with crystal-clear water in this area of the island and have visited the most impressive landscapes in the west of Gran Canaria, we will begin our return journey.
An entire route in which you will observe the horizon over the sea, enjoying the flora and fauna of the area and the satisfaction of combining hiking, adventure and nature in a privileged area.
