Red Deer Bellowing Night Horse Route Córdoba 3h

As the title of the activity indicates, we are going to propose a night tour on the back of a horse to listen to and observe closely the "deer bellowing" , something that can only be achieved during the month of September. This is why this route is so special, a unique event that will literally leave you in awe.

In addition, the area where the horse ride takes place is one of the best locations in the entire national territory to appreciate the "berrea" because it harbors a quite considerable community of these ruminant mammals.

It is a nocturnal route, as it can only be done at night, when the deer start the show, which takes place inside a big game hunting estate located 10 kilometers from the Córdoba town of La Jara. What we will do is move all the equines in trailers and, once there, we will get going.

Those who have lived through this experience report that it is something overwhelming, one of those moments that nature gives us and that makes our hair stand on end. Over the course of three hours, we will have enough time to listen, and contemplate, in amazement, the guttural sound emitted by red deer bucks during the rutting season.
On the day of the activity, we recommend you come with resistant footwear or boots and clothes according to the month in which it is celebrated, since we must consider that, apart from being at night, in September it begins to cool down. The necessary equipment to ride a horse, helmet, saddle or other elements attached to the horse, are at our expense .
