Canyoning and canoeing couples Cantabria

Are you a couple of adventure and nature lovers? Then save the next free days available you have to come to Cantabria and practice two of the most exciting sports there are: canyoning descents and canoe routes. We will prepare the best route for each of them. You will finish the day feeling your bond stronger than ever, as will be your passion for the nature and for adrenaline-pumping activities too!

This canoe descent will be carried out in the river Miera. You will navigate across its riverbed for 2 hours. During this time you will be able to check the most abundant vegetation of Cantabria's landscape and the back, the beautiful bay of Santander. Besides, you won't need to have any experience since these waters, which come directly from the Castro Varela mountain, are very calm. 

You will choose between one canyon and the other, depending on the weather conditions, and the date in which you want to schedule it. Any of the two options we offer will be an excellent choice. We guarantee you will have lots of fun and much, much excitement. The two possible options are:

Ajan Inferior Canyon: this is a water canyon for beginners. It's the perfect option if you enjoy the feeling of adrenaline pumping through you veins, but with a little moderation. Located only a few kilometres of Vega del Pas, you will complete this route in approximately 5 hours, while you go down the slides, water falls of up to 10 metres, and rappels. 

Molino Superior Canyon: in the town of Liérganes, with views to Santander bay, you will enjoy together of a long, but also exciting and intense descent. You will need to overcome open and more narrow stretches, with rappels of up to 30 metres. You won't be missing any vegetation during a journey that will last approximately between 7 and 8 hours (we will make a stop mid journey to have lunch).
