Cerler Half-Day Snowshoe Route

On these more advanced snowshoe routes, which take place over half a day, with an extension of around 3 or 5 hours longsome of the skills acquired in other introductory tours are tested. The location to put it into practice is magical, nothing less than the Benasque Valley, epicenter of the Aragonese Pyrenees.

In addition, they continue to be ideal for any group of adults who are beginners in the subject, since they do not require supreme physical effort and, likewise, they are developed on paths without much unevenness.

Whether you are winter sports lovers or not, we highly recommend hiring this activity for everything that is special about it. But, apart from that, you have five different routes at your disposal, of identical duration, so that you can choose the one that best suits your preferences.

You can choose between a circular route that begins and ends in Llanos del Hospital; another that crosses the area of Ibones de Villamuerta, with its peculiar frozen lakes; the route of the 3 waterfalls, also circular, which starts from the town of Cerler until reaching the aforementioned waterfalls (of Ardonés , El Clotet and the Mascarada); another to theRefugio de la Renclusa, inaugurated in 1916 and located on the north face of the Maladeta massif.

All of our excursions are led by one of our qualified guides, mountain specialists with extensive knowledge of the terrain and atmospheric conditions of the region. As if that were not enough, it will also take snapshots both when you are unprepared and not so that you have a physical memory of that day.

To carry out the activity correctly, you need a pair of canes that serve as support for the participant and, of course, some rackets to be able to hike or walk on the mantle of snow, we lend you both elements at the beginning. The only essential requirement is that you come covered with clothing suitable for low temperatures, solid footwear that does not get wet, sunglasses and >sun cream.
