What is the recommended age to attend?

They are designed for children and young people who meet the camp company's minimal age requirements. These camps are usually conducted for kids around the age of 7 or 8. Some are available for kids up to 16 or till they reach 18. Is there an option to stay overnight?

Although a majority of the English camps in Valencia offer accommodation, there are some day-only options. Parents drop off their children early in the morning and pick them up to return home each day.

In the case of the accommodation options, full boarding is included. The meals are cooked in our own kitchen or by specialized catering businesses, with careful attention paid to the children's allergies and intolerances. If your child is allergic to specific food groups like gluten or lactose, please inform the organizers so that no food containing these ingredients is offered.

A list of items to bring to camp is given to the child's guardians. This includes their personal possessions, which in most cases consists of appropriate outdoor attire, sports shoes, and swimming suits. Depending on where they will be spending the night, they will be notified if they require sheets or a sleeping bag. A toiletries bag containing gel, shampoo, and a toothbrush should be brought. What not to pack in your suitcase is just as crucial as what to pack! Video game consoles and other portable devices should be left at home. If they have a cellphone, they will be told whether or not they can take it with them, and if so, its use will be limited and supervised to only communicating with their parents during the designated time. If pocket money is required, it will be kept in the camp monitors' possession to borrow.

Where can I attend an English language camp in Valencia?

- In Llíria: For participants aged 12 to 16 years old, and children aged 8 to 12, July is the best option. It comprises morning classroom sessions with oral material to keep the students from becoming bored. Then it's on to culinary, handicrafts, or theatre workshops, followed by excursions and competitions until the evening festivities are overflowing. You can find more information here.

- In Requena: At the Moragete Casas del Ro estate, offering complete immersions at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels for pupils as young as seven years old who already have at least an A2 level in the foreign language.
