Arqueopinto is an archaeological museum specialized in the era of prehistory, which shows in its journey the way of life and customs of our ancestors in this historical stage. Inside you can visit reconstructions and replicas as well as live demonstrations with figuration or audiovisual mode. Located in the Madrid town of Pinto, it has become a true tourist attraction for anyone who visits the Juan Carlos I Park.
One of its objectives is to bring the historical and cultural component closer to the little ones in the house, through craft workshops and with ancestral techniques that advocate enhancing the imagination and creativity of its visitors. In addition, they have an ideal space for celebrating any event, both family events, birthdays and urban camps during festive periods.
On each visit you will be accompanied by a qualified guide specialized in this period, who will enlighten you about the elements on display and tell you curious stories and anecdotes that are not reflected in the videos. The educational workshops are especially dedicated to transporting us to another era, using the hunting and decoration elements of our ancestors. The little ones will be able to recreate arrows, learning about the food resources of prehistory and the way of hunting. They will also be able to represent different mosaics and sculptures, learning about the raw materials and techniques of the time. In addition, you can combine it with ceramics.
