With the Cultúrika Association we want to make known the incalculable value of the history that identifies Madrid. Therefore, we have designed some guided tours with which you will discover aspects that you did not know about the Second Republic or the Civil War.
And these two moments are of the greatest relevance and we want to reveal to you each of the events that took place in its streets.
The designed route runs through Antón Martín, the starting point, to go down to Plaza Santa Ana, travel through the entire Cortes y Sol area, to head towards Montera. From here we go down Gran Vía until we end up in the Plaza de España, where an old barracks is located and where we will have the final point of the visit.
Another option is to move to Manzanares el Real, a charming town in the Sierra de Madrid, which brings together not only history, but also other attractions such as impressive views, clean country air and the relaxation typical of the outskirts of the city.
Here you will contemplate and learn everything that surrounds the symbol of this municipality, its castle. This is prized for the solidity of its architecture, which dates back to the 15th century.
This place also brings together one of the most beautiful places in Madrid, La Pedriza, which you can visit by bicycle on a special route.
