Madrid is the perfect city to make a route through any of its streets. Mix history and tradition with modernity and technology. That is why Wake Up Tours arose, thanks to a group of enthusiasts from the capital who want to make your visits a memorable experience.

We are a group of young people from different specialties - Tourism, Literature, Architecture and Art History - who are committed to the organization of free tours as a means of transmitting the passion for this magnificent European city applied to our knowledge.

Our guides , who will carry the colored umbrella that characterizes us, give you the following alternatives with routes of about 2 hours designed for small groups:

• Dark secrets . It is a dramatized guided tour of the Madrid de los Austrias thanks to which we will learn the personal stories of this line of monarchs, where lies, crimes and magic are mixed.

• Forgotten women of Madrid . The history of Madrid is written in feminine thanks to such illustrious characters as Clara Campoamor, Queen Isabel II, Juana of Austria or the Countess of Montijo, women who have marked places or monuments worth visiting.

• Magical Madrid . Night journey that will take us from the Plaza Mayor to the Egyptian Temple of Debob. A 2 and a half hour outing that we do every Sunday.

• Haunted Madrid . Learn about the most atrocious events that have occurred over the centuries in the center of Madrid.

• Centennial shops . The traditional establishments that have seen the years go by from their windows are the ideal places to appreciate the changes that have taken place over more than 100 years.

• Legendary taverns . For lovers of bars, here is the route through the typical bars and restaurants of Madrid located in the historic center, such as Casa Alberto, a meeting place for intellectuals and artists since 1827.

• The Madrid of History . We have specific tours to get to know the Madrid of the Austrias, the Imperial Madrid, the Madrid of the Bourbons and the Golden Age.

• Guided tour of the Prado Museum by an art historian.

• Alcalá de Henares , a World Heritage Site, and its link with the figures of Miguel de Cervantes and Cardinal Cisneros.
