At Walks of Madrid we are responsible for ensuring that the user who accesses our services is absolutely satisfied.
We are an organization that carries out gastronomic tourist visits with the aim of getting a little closer to the Madrid way of life.
On our route we will pass through the most important points of the city guided by a wine expert who is a member of the Spanish Wine Tasting Association who will tell us part of the history of the different dishes to taste in addition to the history of the city itself.
The route has three main stops and two others that can be adapted for groups:
- First part of the trip: the taverns of the oldest Madrid. You will try the typical Madrid vermouth and we will tell you part of its history.
- Second stop: the characteristic sausages of the city. You will taste the ham, loin and chorizo of the classic Spanish Iberian pork. You will eat Manchego cheese, tuna dumplings and torreznos. This part of the trip will not leave anyone indifferent. You will also taste different types of wines from the area.
- Third part of the trip: 18th century mansion where you will taste Albariño white wine, Ferreiro, and eat one of the most famous Spanish dishes, Iberian Presa. This will be accompanied with another type of wine, this time red, a Gran Reserva or others to choose from.
The visit will end with a dessert of vanilla ice cream with Pedro Ximenez wine. To be able to take this route, knowledge of English is necessary, since it will be entirely in that language.
