- Riding around one of the most iconic landmarks of Fuerteventura is possible in the town of La Lajita. This is a special place on the island of Fuerteventura because of the kind of routes that are organised here. Here they take advantage of the cultural heritage and instead of horseback riding, camel riding tours are organised here. This is an even more fun and genuine experience. In terms of scenery, this is another area full of strong contrasts, as you will walk through desert areas full of sand dunes, while on one side you will see the coast of Fuerteventura with its impeccable turquoise waters.
