At Kung Fu Kite we are great professionals in this sport and we work to introduce you to it with the methods established by the IKO International Organization and the national Sailing Federation. This way you can learn at a steady pace, evolving at the pace you need.
We propose all types of courses, private or with more participants, as well as those aimed at technical training for those who already have practice in this sport. Although we can move around, we like to practice in dammed waters where it will be easier for you to learn and we eliminate many of the inconveniences we encounter on beaches full of tourists.
You will usually do your course in two sections. The first aims for you to know how to control the kite, without the board intervening, and in the second we move on to training in contact with the water. The main aspects that you will know are:
- Assembly and control of the kite: before starting to practice you will need to assemble all the equipment and check that it is in the safe conditions you need. To work on control we will start the activity with kites that are smaller than the ones you will handle later.
- Waterstart and navigation: in the water will be where we connect to the board for the first time. We will expand everything learned on land and move on to more technical concepts in areas where there is not much depth.
