Arawak Viajes is a travel agency specialized in the organization of hiking routes, recognized by the General Directorate of Tourism of the Community of Madrid with the title CICMA 893, and authorized to develop any trip or tourism activity and offer it to the public. Arawak carried out its first hiking trip on October 12, 1992, being able to affirm that we are one of the pioneers of the sector in our country.

In Arawak Viajes you have various activities that you can do together in the same program. You just have to sign up for the activity or trip that you want and nothing else.

With Arawak Ski Trips you can ski or snowboard in resorts throughout the country and even in Andorra (Gran Valira, Sierra Nevada, Formigal, Baqueira-Beret...). This is a company that specializes in organizing this type of trips that leave from the city of Madrid.

Trips can last a weekend or more days. There is, for example, the possibility of hiring a week of skiing in Baqueira-Beret for the Three Kings' Week. Arawak trips always include transportation to and from Madrid (by bus that leaves from Ronda de Atocha). They also include half-board accommodation, ski passes for the days you are going to go on the slopes, and courses and classes if necessary. The rental of the material is not included, but you can ask Arawak to arrange it.

It is important to highlight that Arawak's human team is made up of professionals from the ski sector. With Arawak Viajes Senderismo all excursions will have a complimentary waiting time at the departure and return times, no more than 5 minutes. If you arrive later we will have to consider you as a no-show.

On our excursions and bus trips, the seats are numbered according to the order of registration and payment, informing you of your place at the time of making the reservation. If you don't remember at the departure point, ask the guide. Many of our buses have seat belts on each seat. In them, its use is mandatory.

On all excursions (except Dormilón Special), we make a stop in a town before starting to walk, in order to have breakfast and buy bread. It is advisable to bring enough food and water yourself. For the good of everyone, smoking is not allowed on our coaches.

Collaborate by storing your backpack in the trunk. For cleaning reasons, on muddy days it is advisable to change your shoes and store them in bags in the trunk. Both things will make the journey on the bus more comfortable.

The Guide adopts a walking pace according to the level of the route and the circumstances. Adapt to the level at which you participate, do not surpass the guide, let him do his job. If you are ahead, you will impose a greater pace, create confusion among those who follow you, greater fatigue in those less capable, the dismemberment of the group and possible losses.
