Club Hípico Goikomendi

At the Goikomendi Equestrian Club we develop activities related to horse riding.

We are specialized in equestrian camps programmed as summer and Easter camps and in lessons to bring this discipline closer to all ages. In our facilities you can find:

- Rides on friendly donkeys and ponies that we use so that children establish their first contact with horse riding.

- Riding classes in different degrees of difficulty, from beginner to advanced level.

- Participations in the professional dressage circuit and in jumping competitions.

- Routes through natural environments on horseback where you will enjoy the nobility of our animals.

- Themed camps for children, covering their school vacation periods with activities related to horses.

Any of our options revolves around respect for horses. We use natural training methods that allow us to recover animals that have lost trust in man.

For all animal loversGoikomendi Horse Riding Club is the ideal place. Here you can be in total contact with nature, since horseback riding in our region will take you into the most beautiful corners of our forests.

Our team of professionals will guide you through the best itineraries, in which you can ride the best horses along the entire coast to Gorliz beach. In addition, you can explore different forest tracks or even go sightseeing around Butrón Castle, crossing the river that bears its name.

Our horses are very special, bright, strong and, most importantly, noble. In addition, they can be of great help if you need or know someone for hippotherapy, where the horse is used as a rehabilitation tool for people with special needs.

Likewise, we suggest that you bring the little ones, since we offer themed camp services, where they can learn during a weekend, Easter or in the summer English, horse riding, do crafts, collective games, etc.

At the Goikomendi Equestrian Club we organize our equestrian camps with one more incentive, since we prefer to theme them by including activities related to theater and nature. In the summer edition, children and adolescents who are a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 16 years old can participate.

They will be available from June 26 to August 20 with the following characteristics:

- Option to register as interns or only during the day, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The boys who stay overnight will do so in our own hostel. Those who return home each day will share the same daytime activities as the rest of the camp attendees.

- A complete stay in which the participants will have full board, specialized personnel to take care of them and the materials that they will use for the activities that we prepare.

- We will use our facilities, those of the Goikomendi farm, in a setting between the coast and the mountains that, however, is only 30 kilometers from the city of Bilbao.
