Descenso Sella is a company located in the Asturian town of Ribadesella that specializes in everything that has to do with adventure sports and rural leisure. You can reach its facilities by car from Gijón in 40 minutes, while from Oviedo it takes less than an hour.

Descenso Sella Canoas organizes the descent of this mythical river by canoe from its facilities in the town of Ribadesella, less than an hour from both Gijón and Oviedo.

With Descenso Sella everyone can make the legendary descent of the famous river in comfortable canoes, very manageable and, above all, safe. Departures occur every day, and the descent is free. This means that everyone can go at their own pace and those who want can even stop from time to time to take a dip, take photos or simply relax and enjoy the landscape.

The activity lasts approximately between 3 and 4 hours, although the pace is very relaxed. Therefore, it is a highly recommended experience for families with children who want to do something original and fun together.

You leave from Arriondas after some brief instructions and advice from the instructors. These same monitors will accompany the expedition at all times, ensuring that all safety rules are respected (and the environment is taken care of). At the end of the descent, upon arrival, there will be a car waiting to transport canoeists back to the facilities, where they can take a refreshing shower, rest and discuss the best moments.

Caving consists of exploring underground caves. It is a very fun and varied activity due to the number of actions that have to be done: climbing, descending, crawling, crouching, jumping, rappelling and sometimes even swimming.

Descenso Sella was born with the purpose of providing coverage not only to sports that combine adventure and rural leisure, but also to different possibilities that are out of the norm. This is where the idea of creating Descent Sella Rutas 4x4 arose, a variant of the traditional guided tours that makes use, as its name suggests, of an all-terrain vehicle /strong> with 4x4 traction.

Best of all, we have a great location, our facilities are 40 minutes by car from Gijón strong> and just under an hour from the Asturian capital, Oviedo. Although that does not mean that all our routes have to start in Ribadesella.

In fact, we use the majesty offered by the Picos de Europa as a backdrop, which is why all our 4x4 routes start from the beautifultown of Cangas de Onís. From there, we will cover the popular Ruta del Cares, one of the most spectacular in the country, through two modalities.
