Asturias offers ideal conditions for surfing and RíoSella knows how to take advantage of the waves. Our courses and activities are a benchmark in the sector and we want to prove it to you.

• Thepractices are carried out on Ribadesella Beach, where the surf school is located.

• The Santa Marina Beach is the setting where the courses are taught. If the sea conditions require it, we will have an alternative to Playa de Vega, 5 km away from Ribadesella.

• The instructors in charge of teaching the courses are professionals qualified by the Spanish Surfing Federation. Our expert surfers will share their knowledge with you so that you can fully enjoy this sport.

• If what you are looking for are private classes or small groups, RíoSella Surf offers you courses of 2 hours a day for two or five days (maximum of 6 students per teacher). li>

• Children who want to start surfing must be at least 8 years old. They will also be able to receive courses adapted to their physical conditions.

• The courses provide board provided with paraffin, safety strap and set of three fins.

RíoSella Paintball invites you to enjoy an activity suitable for all those who want to discharge adrenaline without limits. The natural forests on the banks of the Sella River provide the ideal battlefield to disconnect from our daily lives.

• The activity lasts approximately 2 hours.

• Choose between our morning hours from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. or in the afternoon from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

• We provide you with all the necessary equipment for the game. You will have top quality markers that will allow you to refine your aim 100%, protective masks with communication system, goggles and protective chest protectors for the chest and the back.

• Camouflage yourself in the environment! On the banks of the Sella the forest is born that will offer you all kinds of natural trenches along with a notable amount of vegetation that will allow you to blend in without problems.

• There is a great variety of games that we will play during the game. Fun is guaranteed!

• The activityincludes 100 paintballs although as long as you use them up you can refill them without any problem.

• The minimum age to participate is 14 years old.

• The groups are usually closed so that you can organize the game with the people you want. You will have the forest exclusively for yourselves.

• The activity is always supervised by one or two monitors that you can easily identify.

• It is advisable to wear appropriate footwear for the mountains with ankle protection, as well as gloves of your size.

RíoSella Quads offers you to discover the emblematic territory of Picos de Europa in a different way. Combine the magic of the environment with the excitement of traveling the roads aboard our quads.

• The routes will last 1 hour, enough to fully enjoy the route and our vehicles.

• There will be four departures in the morning (10:00, 11:00, 12:00 and 1:00 p.m.) and another four in the afternoon (16:00, 17:00, 18:00 and 19:00 h). Choose the schedule that best suits your needs.

• We will travel through forest roads located between Arriondas and Cangas de Onís… ThePicos de Europa Region in all its splendor!

• The only necessary requirement is to be in possession of a B1 driving license. If you don't have it, you can always go as a companion.

• Put our new fleet of quads to the test and show off the latest technology in terms of safety and handling.

• Our vehicles have automatic transmission and are equipped with powerful engines that guarantee stability on any type of terrain.

• The activity will be supervised at all times by a guide who will instruct us on the correct use of the quad. We must respect the road without overtaking or risky maneuvers.

RíoSella Hiking invites you to discover the beautiful places that Picos de Europa offers through its emblematic Cares Route. Its fame precedes it due to the spectacular gorge that opens its way under our feet. From start to finish beauty is guaranteed, are you going to miss it?

• The departure will be from our offices in Cangas de Onís at 10:30 a.m.

• The route begins in Caín (León) and leads to Poncebos (Asturias).

• The path we will travel is 12 km long.

• Despite being a path with no unevenness, it is advisable to use your strength to fully enjoy the path.

• At all times you will be able to enjoy the impressive panoramic views that the surroundings draw, in addition to crossing sections of the path that will present us with water mills, typical Asturian granaries, the chorco de los lobos (year 1610) and an endless number of natural viewpoints to the Picos de Europa.

• RíoSella will provide you with a pic-nic to regain your strength.

• At 6:00 p.m. RíoSella will pick you up in Poncebos and we will return to Cangas de Onís, passing through the towns of Arenas de Cabrales, Carreña, Onís, among many others.

Recommendations:

• It is important that you bring specific walking shoes.

• As on any mountain route, it is advisable that you use sun protection.

• If the weather is good, the cap and sunglasses will become essential.

• Keep in mind that in some sections of the road your phone will lose coverage.

RíoSella Espeleología immerses you in the caves that are hidden under the Picos de Europa and its branches, famous throughout the world for their formations and passes. Every year cavers come from all over to enter these spectacular caves and feel more closely the heart of this mountain massif.

• The visits will be monitored by one or more guides, depending on the number of members of the group. The instructions of the guides must be respected at all times.

• The duration of the activity is 2 to 3 hours, not counting travel from the base to the cave and vice versa.

• Aprotective cover and a helmet with a headlamp will be provided to light the way.

• It is advisable to wear comfortable shoes that can get wet, as some of the sections of the path may be muddy.

• The activity requires a minimum age of 12 years.

• Keep in mind that in many steps of the journey it will be necessary to crawl through cat flaps and descend narrow paths.

• If you wish, you can take photographs, as long as your camera has a built-in flash! Immortalize the spectacular formations that arise inside these caves: stalactites, columns, flags, hilictites, stone waterfalls or even cave pearls at the bottom of the ponds.

• The approach to the cave is done by RíoSella who, once the day is over, returns you to the facilities.

• Once at the Arrionda base you can shower and change in our changing rooms.

Do you want your children to have fun like never before surrounded by the best nature? RioSella has built its Adventure Park on the banks of the Sella River, a true natural enclave that is now dressed in habitat for little adventurers. Within our facilities, you will find endless tests and obstacles with which you will have a great time. It reinforces values such as self-improvement and companionship, so necessary in daily life.

The route is permanently located between 4 and 7 meters high, and has its starting point with a climb to our climbing wall . With this little introduction to climbing, your child will feel as if they have climbed the highest peak. The next challenge is a log bridge pass, which you will have to hold on tight to avoid slipping. This test is the prelude to a great via ferrata that you will pass just before going through the flea jumping and monkey walking tests. Before reaching the 46-meter zip lines , you will have to cross the mobile log.

All tests are specially designed for your age and anatomy, so none of them are difficult. Even so, they will be insured throughout the tour so that in the event of a fall they remain subject. This activity is specially designed for children under five years of age, where they will learn to develop their skills and motor skills. For children between 5 and 10 years old , they will have a special area with a stabilizer bar and several zigzag bridges that they will have to overcome before reaching the final zip line. It is an activity not to be missed and that we assure you will love the little ones in the house.

For the more adventurous we have a new test called ´ The Yellow Fight ´, where two rivals have to fight to knock down the other with a foam rubber bar, whoever does it first will be the winner. This activity takes place at a height of five meters, so players will be secured with a harness and helmet at all times.
