Although one of the main objectives is to have fun while practicing adventure sports, our highest priority is safety. All of our staff have excellent training, and all of our materials are constantly renewed.

• Air: enjoy a tandem paragliding flight.
• Water: we do canoeing in Lake Zahara de la Sierra and canyoning in the most important canyons in the south of the peninsula.
• Land: if you like climbing or want to live a mountain experience, we do mountaineering excursions and via ferratas.

We usually move between the natural parks of Sierra de Grazalema, Los Alcornocales and Sierra de las Nieves .

Discovery invites you to enjoy the nature of the Iberian Peninsula through canyoning, an activity full of excitement and fun whatever the canyon that comes our way. It is one of the best ways to practice Active Tourism , blending in with the environment and getting to feel the force of the water and the rock. In addition, thanks to the multitude of rock formations in our land, we have itineraries of various levels so that novice and experienced can have a great time practicing Canyoning .

There are five ravines most in demand within our offer, two of which are specially made by the Río Juzcar . Both the Sima del Diablo and Arroyo Majales enjoy a spectacular environment, exuberant vegetation and fun pools. Excitement is assured by the hand of our expert guides, who will ensure your safety and reveal all the secrets of this great sport. In addition, in Ronda we have the only urban ravine, totally vertical and with views of a monumental town.

In the Cadiz area we have Garganta Verde , a large canyon accessed through the Cueva de la Ermita, with a drop of 250 meters. The rappels and jumps abound in a changing riverbed throughout the year. Narrow corridors and surprising nooks await you that will not leave anyone indifferent. And on the Granada side we find the Río Verde , an ideal descent for fun and initiation, of great ecological beauty.

With Discovery you can make some of the best via ferratas in Andalusia, we have the best human team to carry out mountain activities, we also work with equipment that we renew every so often.

Via Ferrata de Benalauría : a surprising challenge located in Tajo de los Aviones. It is of medium / high difficulty and lasts 3 hours plus half an hour for the approach and half an hour back.

In addition to the steps, descents and rappels, the highlight of the ravine are the impressive views of the Genal Valley.

Via Ferrata de la Benadalid , very close to Benalauría, if you are looking for a full day you can do both routes.

It is very important to come prepared both physically and mentally, in many of the sections there will be no going back and require high levels of concentration.

Discovery brings you a little closer to the clouds and takes you paragliding in different parts of southern Andalusia, it is a tandem flight of 15 to 30 minutes where we will rise to heights of 800 - 1000 meters .

The most common point of flight is the Algodonales , this site is often referred to as the European California, since here the necessary requirements are given to be able to practice the best free flight: absence of wiring and proximity to the Sierra de Grazalema .

Would you be able to jump from more than 30 meters into the void ? From Discovery we are sure that you can! We put the best mountain equipment and the experience of our professional instructors at your service so that you can make the dream of “flying” come true.

It is not necessary to have previous experience, with weighing less than 85 kilos and having the necessary courage to jump is enough. If you want to brag in front of your friends this is the occasion, invite them to watch you jump off a bridge!

We have a highly experienced team in extreme sports, and we also jump with double the required security measures , tied at the feet and waist. And as if that were not enough, before carrying out the activity you will have to pay attention to an informative talk about the risks and security measures to take into account.

And since we know that these types of activities become addictive, we give you the option to repeat the jump.

Are you willing to live a total adventure in the middle of nature? With Discovery you can participate in a camp that takes place in the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema in two shifts, between July 1 and 8 and from July 9 to 16, 2016 . It is for children and young people between 8 and 15 years old, divided into two age groups so that the activities are better adapted to them.

Although we depend on the time and the groups that come, the program we have designed is:

• - Hiking: we will dedicate this first day to hiking. It will be a quiet activity to take shape for the rest of the day. The route to follow will be along the Guadalete River. In this excursion we will try to discover the fauna and flora of the environment while we walk under the forests of the river bank and the Natural Park of the Sierra de Grazalema
  
• - BTT / Workshops: for the second day we will create two groups (which we will keep until the third day). Once you have divided, some will have to pedal on a mountain bike route and others will do all kinds of workshops at the hostel. Those who go on an excursion with the bicycle will do so on the Greenway and those who have had the workshops, will be able to choose between one of pastries, tattoos and others more dedicated to knowing the environment.
  
• - Workshops / BTT: will be the other way around than the previous day. The groups will alternate to be able to give you a better attention in the excursions with the Bicycle. In addition, the workshops will serve as a short break
  
• - Multiadventure: we will leave the bike parked and go to the mountain to climb, jump down the zip line and make the biggest rappelling descents you have ever imagined. We will travel to La Nava to be able to do all these rope sports so that you can enjoy one of the best landscapes.
  
• - Water activities: is the best idea to finish this camp. We will travel to the Pantano de Zahara where we will take our canoes and embark on them to do races, routes and games in a unique environment.

Our hostel has a large capacity and can accommodate 45 people. In it you will find the best views of the mountains that surround us such as Lijar or Grazalema. If you decide to come and try this camp, you should not forget to bring:

• Hiking boots and sportswear: so that you do not have problems when carrying out the activities that we have proposed.
  
• Swimsuit: is for sports that are done in the water. Nor should you leave at home some slippers that can get wet and with which you can move well in the river.
  
• Sun protection: both in the form of cream and a cap or something similar to protect you.
