This is an activity that can be done by families, children and adults, groups of friends and companies. For anyone who likes the countryside and especially adventure, canyoning is a perfect way to be closer to nature.
You will have to go down the river bed that houses a ravine where you will cross enormous waterfalls, slide down natural slides and cross pools in addition to swimming in the river. Rappelling is the most used technique to descend waterfalls.

Snowshoes, designed to walk comfortably through the snow, are an excuse to explore the landscapes of Cantabria in winter or even in spring if the weather continues to allow it.

Each season they offer routes of two or more days through the Picos de Europa through areas such as Collado Jermoso, Peña Vieja, Torre Cerredo, Naranjo de Bulnes... and many other areas.
If you need information about trails and routes to go on your own, they will be happy to guide and advise you, especially if the route is through Liébana.

Potes Aventura organizes classic Vías Ferratas in Cantabria, in the Potes area.
For those who do not know this activity, they are vertical sports routes and routes that are carried out with suitable material and that represent an approach to climbing for hikers or people who are not used to climbing. It is not as difficult as climbing nor does it require advanced knowledge to practice it.
The route is strictly designed with support points, typical via ferrata equipment and steel cables anchored to the rock, as well as suspension bridges. You can take some of their routes or rent their equipment. They will give you a helmet and harnesses as well as energy dissipators.
