Loredo Aventura is located in front of the Bay of Santander and has excellent, very long beaches where the famous Loredo horse derby is held every year. Just a few minutes from the center of the Cantabrian capital you have adventures in the sea and very close to it that will make you come back.

• Surf courses and equipment rental: We help you stay upright on the board, challenging the waves of the Cantabrian Sea. Courses of 2 hours per day.
• Canoe-kayak crossing through the bay of Santander: From the Somo pier we set out to explore the entire bay with excellent views of the Santander town and other enclaves.
• Paintball: You cannot miss the adventure sport that is causing the most furor, especially among young people. We have for you the most popular modalities to enjoy paintball next to the sea.
• Archery: An activity that has hundreds of years of history and that you can emulate with us. We teach you the technique and organize competitions that will test your skill.
• Bike routes: An excellent way to get to know Santander and its surroundings between fantastic paths through villages and country houses.

At Loredo Aventura we offer a very easy and pleasant kayak trip through the bay of Santander and the nearby areas, sailing calmly and obtaining magnificent views of Santander and the entire bay with its coves, nearby mountains and fishing villages.

The kayak tour that we propose lasts 3 hours and will take place from Pedreña beach towards the Cubas estuary passing through Somo from where we can also leave.

You can choose between a single or double kayak for your adventure along the Cantabrian coast.

Loredo Aventura will provide you with everything you need for practice, monitor, sea kayak, life jacket, shovel, watertight container... You must be provided with a swimsuit, towel, shoes that can get wet, t-shirt. jacket or similar (avoid cotton) and in case of sun, cap and sunscreen, as well as water or soft drink.

Have you ever surfed? With Loredo Aventura Surf you can practice this sport by starting out or perfect your techniques if you have already practiced it on another occasion.

The beaches of Loredo, in Santander, are the perfect place where you will find the ideal conditions for practicing this sport, where you will learn all the basics: wave formation, type of boards, how the material works, how to paddle, duck technique, of the turtle, how to sit on the board, what is the history of surfing, what are the rules in the water, etc.

We will teach you to practice standing up on the sand so that you can rehearse the technique and when you are clear about it you can do it in the water, first in foam waves and later, when you have gotten the hang of it, you can go deeper into the water.
Our main goal is for you to finish the course by standing on the board, where you will surf the wave in a straight line. When you have mastered this technique you will be able to make turns and acquire a higher level, we will correct your mistakes and help you overcome difficulties.

In front of the bay of Santander you can enjoy a vibrant adventure sport perfect for hanging out with your teammates, such as paintball. You will find it in Loredo strong>, 20 km from the Cantabrian capital, magnificent facilities with countless obstacles and parapets and forests with up to 14,000 m2 of space.

Being part of a group of 6 people and being over 14 years old you have all the requirements to come play paintball with us.

Choose between one of these game modes and go out there to battle with your marker gun:

• The capture
• Conquest

• Balls counted
• Bodyguard

You will start with 100 balls as an initial load with the possibility of reloading whenever it is used up.

The best quality material regarding guns, balls and protective suit will be available to you.

archery is an activity that stands out for its concentration and aim . We offer it to you in a unique experience that often hooks those who practice it, especially in the environment in which we are located, in front of Santander Bay.

Once at the shooting range and the area secured, after explaining the use, handling of the material and safety regulations, we will do some test runs.

Later, the exercise will begin where the participants will put their Robin Hood skills to the test, giving rise to fun competitions.

These are some important information to carry out this activity:

• Duration: 1.5 hours
• Level: basic, initiation.
• Requirements: minimum age 12 years.
• Includes everything you need: monitor, equipment, facilities, insurance.
• Place: For practice we will go to our Vargas shooting range or, failing that, we will enable one in the area of interest.

In Loredo and its surroundings we have a multitude of options when it comes to enjoying a mountain bike ride . In addition to having a bike lane, there are asphalt tracks that run through the adjacent towns and trails along the cliffs that make the activity an attractive and fun alternative.

Breathing the pure air of the sea and the countryside with evergreen greenery is a joy on a bicycle. You will find all kinds of local roads, charming paths between eucalyptus trees and paths that will take you along the coastline with views of the bays.

You will also be able to visit beautiful fishing villages such as Noja, Laredo, Santoña and Santander itself which has lanes equipped for cycling its streets and promenades.

A guide will be your expert company during the journey on a journey that can last as long as your legs and your desire to pedal want.

You will have guaranteed mountain bikes with fantastic suspension and braking, although if you want you can come with your own.

In Loredo Aventura we know multiple ways to establish contact with nature through the river. However, the most intense of them is the hydrospeed since through it you will face only its channel with the only support of a hydrotrineum.

Protected by a special wetsuit, with reinforcements in key areas so that you do not break with the rocks, and a helmet we will depart towards the Ebro. There the facilities we have in Bustasur , in the municipality of Reinosa, they will give us assistance to prepare the activity. The transport to the locality will be done in your vehicles but to the point of action there you can leave them parked because we will have ours.

The basic data for the reservation of a descent are that you will have to do it between the months of June and September, by characteristics of the waters, and that it is necessary to be over 12 years old and know nothing. From here we will be ready:

- We will go out with a guide that sailing in kayak will go to our side to make sure that we are well until we reach the end of the water itinerary.

- We will face up to rapids of levels between II and III with an even greater jump that we will save as we have indicated before starting.

In Loredo Aventura we use our knowledge about the ravines of the Cantabrian mountain range to approach them in exciting descents in which all the details are controlled.

We usually do the activity within the same day, dedicating an average time of 2 to 3 hours . However, this will vary greatly depending on the canyon we face. While we consider that this is the appropriate duration for those people who begin in this modality, we can move on to a much more intense action with those adventurers who request the highest level descents. In either case:

- We will go out with a guide who will remain permanently with us. He will take care of both the instructions that we must take into account before we get into the river and verify that every step we take inside is taken safely for us.

- The material we will wear on our swimsuit, which we will obviously wear from home, we will provide here. It will protect you a case and a complete wetsuit that will be part of the collective team that we will take to the ravine. We will need ropes and harnesses for the hardest rappels and obstacles.

In Loredo Aventura we use canoes as the healthiest way for the marine environment to enjoy the coastal environment in which we find ourselves. They allow us to move with our group sharing a boat or each one occupying one of them to use our arms moving the blades.

We use canoes with one or two seats that, in addition to not being able to sink, are very stable. To make them even more comfortable they have a backrest that can be adapted to our needs and they carry a water insulated drum for our delicate belongings. With them:

- We leave crossing : starting at the Somo Bridge to reach the Ría de Cubas or on a second itinerary with which we intend to reach the Bay of Santander. It is also possible to follow other directions by consulting it previously. Some of these alternatives go to the Ria de Isla or pass through Noja and Tregandín.

- We facilitate the rental to those who want to try them: this service is available in several points. You can request them from Santander, going to the municipality of Somo, if you are in Pedreña or if the Ría de Ajo or Noja suits you more.

Through paddle surfing at Loredo Aventura we seek to give you a more leisure alternative on the Cantabrian coast that is simple enough for you to get going at any time. Simply taking into account what the sea conditions are before deciding the itinerary to advise you, we will be prepared to give you the instruction you need.

You will make round trips that pass between the Somo jetty and the Playa del Puntal or the Ría de Cubas . It is also possible to follow the descents of this same estuary, those of Ajo or Mogro for 1 or 2 hours according to our rental pricing. We will include you:

- The stand up paddle board : it belongs to the Bic Duratec model, being comfortable and with the breadth that will facilitate balance even without experience. You will put the Leash that we will lend you, a security support that you will put on your ankle so that the board does not get lost if you fall into the water.

- To navigate you will go with a shovel : it is extensible because before starting the route you must adjust it to your needs so that its handling is comfortable for you.

- On the body you will wear a neoprene less in the hottest summer months because we do not consider it necessary. You will also use a vest that will give you extra security.

In Loredo Aventura we look for options that always overflow emotion so that your passage through the Cantabrian coast is not a simple visual visit. Rafting perfectly fulfills the goal of providing you with a universe of sensations in rivers that remain almost unchanged over time.

We will board you in a group inflatable boat with a guide entitled on board from Bustasur . This makes it one of the safest activities since this will be directly responsible for the boat in which you are traveling and nobody better than him knows every obstacle that the river will pose to us.

There are levels suitable for each age bracket. If you go with your family, we recommend a level II decrease because it can be done with children from 8 years old . If they have from 12 they are prepared for levels III and IV. Of course, you all have to know how to swim.

The sections that we follow belong to the riverbed of the Ebro and connect Arroyo with Bustasur, Montes and Aldea and the Cañones area. They are in durations between 120 minutes and 3 and a half hours. Our reservation date must be between June and September.
