Welcome to Alternative Route ! Our goal is to be able to offer you the best hiking routes and via ferratas in the surroundings of the Sierra de Grazalema and Los Alcornocales Natural Parks.

We love to spread the values of respect and love for nature , and do it through these adventure activities.

Depending on the time of year we can offer you special routes of different themes:

We can organize special events in nature, if you need it.

Alternative Route offers you a wide variety of hiking excursions in Cádiz, specializing in Los Alcornocales Natural Park and Sierra de Grazalema.

This privileged region offers us many possibilities. We like to take you to the lesser known, but no less spectacular. This way you make sure you take a tour that otherwise you will very likely never get to know.

The areas that we visit most frequently are these:

• Port pulled.
• Holy Places.
• Navazo de Líbar.
• Cerro Coros and Monte Prieto.
• Dornajo Circus.
• Green pond.
• Simancón and Clock.

We can also do special routes of botany, mycology, ornithology, or special routes for photographs. Likewise, if you want to celebrate an event in nature, count on us to organize it.

In the nearby Sierra de Cádiz and nearby Natural Parks (such as Los Alcornocales and Grazalema) there are different via ferratas that you can do. Alternative Route will show you all!

One of our favorites is La Escaleruela . It is in Antequera, already in the province of Malaga. We started it from the top of Camorro. The main road is 70 meters, although there is another one that measures just half. The unevenness that we will overcome is 410 meters, and the height of the via ferrata is 1362 meters.

What do you need to accompany us on the via ferratas? Simply bring comfortable clothing, footwear suitable for the mountains, and a backpack with food and water for when we stop to rest .

All the activities we do in Alternative Route have as their main objective the enjoyment of nature with the utmost respect for the environment.
