At Tacandife Canarias we act as a sports club bringing together the different possibilities of the island of Gran Canaria related to active leisure. Through our qualification we are prepared to:
- Caving: visiting caves and galleries of different lengths and dimensions, discovering chasms and traces of the island's volcanic configuration.
- Canyoning: and its version parallel to the sea, coastering. We will go to aquatic ravines where we will use our skills and the techniques explained by the guide to follow the freshwater channel encased in the rock. In the case of coastering, features and equipment similar to that of ferratas can also be seen.
- Hiking: by organizing outdoor routes through natural landscapes with the possibility of including gastronomic tours that show you the keys to Canarian cuisine and the foods used in it.
Furthermore, as professionals, we have a service for recognizing places with difficult access, after which we proceed to equip them appropriately.

Tacandife Canarias we are a sports club with trained professionals to accompany you and guide you through the different canyons of the island of Gran Canaria. We know all the possibilities of the area thanks to which we can give you correct prior advice that allows you to choose the appropriate outing for your group.
On the island there are mainly two types of descents:
- Canyoning: commonly understood as that which takes place accompanying the riverbed between the mountains. We will go out to see aquatic ravines full of natural pools and we will use techniques such as rappelling to overcome their unevenness.
- Coastering: it is a modality even better known in other European countries that is highly recommended in the Canary Islands due to the environment it provides us. We will continue walking and rappelling between the rocks but we will do it next to the sea. The Atlantic will give us magnificent views as it breaks against the coast and we will find pools flooded with salt water where we can bathe and take a fundamental break to continue our adventure.

The technicians from the Tacandife Canarias Sports Association go with you in your introduction to caving. The island is populated with cavities of interest, from the most accessible to extensive galleries a thousand meters long that we will have the opportunity to inspect.
In the Canary Islands, the volcanic terrain stands out, which are exposed to us under the direction of a professional in this activity. In addition, the ideal place will be chosen for the group profile taking into account whether there are children in it and what their ages are. This way no one will have to give up the adventure.
At the time of starting the activity:
- It will be explained to you where we are going to go and what are the general characteristics of what we are going to see with the aim that you are prepared for the type of route knowing what type of effort you will have to make.
- You will be given a helmet for protection with a front intended to illuminate your steps inside the cave. The collective material is carried by the guide and consists of ropes and safety elements that will help us, for example, if we are forced to rappel to continue advancing through the cavity.
