The Climb

The Climb is the largest climbing center in Boulder in the Community of Madrid. With its 800 scalable square meters and 750 square meters of surface, it is positioned as the largest climbing wall in Boulder in our country.

We are located in the Polígono Industrial de San José de Valderas, bordering the municipality of Alcorcón.

We carry out all kinds of courses, we are a reference climbing school in the world of climbing.

All kinds of classes are given, both for children and adults, and you can also use the facility on your own if you have climbing knowledge.

Classes at the climbing school are taught to children from 4 years old. We organize birthdays, summer camps, Christmas and Easter. We alternate climbing sessions with English classes and craft workshops.

Climbing and fun are guaranteed at The Climb.

At The Climb we propose you the challenge of climbing in the largest boulder in the Madrid region, with facilities whose 800 m2 of tracks and ascending sections make it the nerve center of this sport at a national level. Introductory courses are given, classes aimed at both adults and children and many other activities. However, a multitude of outdoor activities are also offered. Counting on its team of grade II climbing technicians, The Climb offers the following outdoor services:

• Initiation courses:

- Climbing. Maximum 6 people.

- Sport climbing of various lengths. Maximum 2 people.

- Classic Climbing. Maximum 2 people.

• Guided climbing excursions for one day. They take place on weekends and are based on group outings led by a certified climbing technician. The duration is one morning and they take place in the different climbing schools of the Community of Madrid.

• Climbing trips:

- Departures from Boulder. Maximum 8 people.

- Outings of Sport Climbing. Maximum 6 people.

- Classic Climbing Guides. Maximum 2 people.

- Boulder Climbing Trips. Groups of up to 8 people. Trips to the best areas of Boulder: Albarracín, Targassonne, and many other places.

- Sports Climbing Trips. Groups of up to 6 people. An infinity of excellent climbing schools await us Margalef, Rodellar, Montanejos, El Chorro, Sella and many more.

- Guided Classic Climbing Tours. 1 or 2 people maximum. Climbing the great walls: El Naranjo de Bulnes, El Peñón de Ifach, El Torreón de los Galayos and endless walls waiting to be climbed.

The Climb is positioned as the reference bouldering climbing center in our country . With its 800m2 scalable in a 750m2 building, it is the largest bouldering center in the Community of Madrid. The continuous maintenance of its panels, equipping Boulder circuits of all difficulties, makes the installation remain in constant renovation.

In The Climb you will find what you need:

- Climbing initiation for adults . The initiation groups are 4 classes of 1 hour aimed at learning climbing technique starting from level zero. Classes start the first week of each month: Friday afternoons, or Saturday mornings.

- Climbing school for children from 4 years of age . It is done in 2 formats: o 2 days / week, 1 hour / day: Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday afternoons o 1 day / week, 1 hour / day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoon , or Saturday mornings.

- Climbing classes directed for all levels . They are climbing training classes for people with a climbing base. They are carried out in two formats: o 2 days / week, 1 hour / day: Monday and Wednesday, or Tuesday and Thursday. In the mornings, half days and in the afternoons or 1 day / week, 1 hour / day: They take place on Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings.

- Different formulas to use The Climb facilities on your own : day tickets, 10-session bonuses, monthly membership fees, and annual membership fees.

- Climbing courses of Boulder, sport, and classic climbing.

- Rock climbing trips , and guided climbing trips of all kinds.

The Climb facilities are prepared to accommodate the different areas of habitual use in training with various inclinations and heights. It also has changing rooms with lockers and showers, and a multipurpose room for stretching, yoga classes and physiotherapy treatments. At The Climb we also provide a cafeteria and climbing shop service.

Discover the breadth of possibilities open to your children in the main bouldering area in Madrid and one of the most important in Spain. Its 750 m2 of facilities are not only available for climbing but rather allow birthday celebrations and urban camps that are truly different and beneficial for children.

During the school holidays The Climb presents a great offer of climbing camps. In summer 2014 the camps are offered weekly from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the possibility of extension.

During the mornings various climbing activities are carried out. It is climbed in the 2 main modalities: bouldering and sport climbing (rope climbing). The sport of climbing develops concentration, self-confidence, attention to the position of your body, balance, eye-hand coordination, teamwork and many other essential capacities in the development of children.

In addition, at The Climb, climbing activities are combined with various workshops that complement the dynamics, making them even more fun. Skating, painting, activities in English, origami, slackline, water games, coordination circuits and endless activities will make for a very entertaining week.

In the middle of the morning, a breakfast consisting of fruit, juices and sandwiches is prepared to charge you with energy and perform at your best in the second part of the day.

A very complete week that they will never forget.

The Climb is a company located in Madrid that offers English camps in Easter and Christmas for the little ones in the house.

Our camp combines fun and climbing. Children learn that through effort and perseverance they can reach the top.

This program is aimed at children and young people between 6 and 14 years old .

Our hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (there is the possibility of extending these hours)

With our method we intend to reinforce skills with this increasingly demanded language.

Teaching professionals and instructors will make sure you have a great time learning.

The duration of our camps can be 3 or 5 days in the months of June, July and September.

We will also carry out other types of outdoor activities and workshops.
