We are an active leisure company that has a team of experienced professionals who will guide you whether you are a beginner or a professional in hiking and climbing, prioritizing the safety of all participants in all our activities.

Although we have our headquarters in Coslada all our activities start from Plaza de Castilla in Madrid , in calle Mateo Inurria nº 9, very close to the Plaza de Castilla interchange and the station metro of the same name.

We program simple routes and carry out courses for all levels throughout the year divided into levels of difficulty so that you are more clear about which activity is appropriate for your possibilities:

- Basic : the most suitable for all. They are itineraries from 8 or 10 km in length that usually will not exceed 14 km or present steep slopes. They are the perfect option for a day in nature in which we will spend 4 or 5 hours with breaks to have some food, take photos, chat with our hiking companions ...

- Medium : for which it will be necessary to have a little more physical resistance. We will face slopes of up to 600 meters on routes that can reach 7 hours and more rugged terrain.

- Alto : only suitable for those accustomed to walking through mountain terrain on long field days between 8 and 10 hours of excursion. We may have to resort to holding on with our hands in the case of the most extreme slopes.

With Via- Free you will be able to gain experience progressively and with maximum security. We also make trips inside and outside our borders in collaboration with a travel agency.

Have you ever felt curious or tempted to see what it feels like to climb a wall on your own? In Vía-Libre Escalada we give you the possibility of learning the basic rules of using the material and how to move around it, choosing equipped and low difficulty routes so that you can try this sport for the first time without stress and having fun well (it is not necessary to have a special physical shape or previous training). We also take care of providing you with a complete course so that you can then travel safely equipped routes on your own.

You can choose between one-day trips or a full weekend spending the night in a mountain refuge. You choose the date, Saturdays, Sundays or weekdays during the week, whenever it suits you.

This activity is carried out accompanied by a specialized instructor, we also provide you with all the material you need such as climbing shoes, harness, helmet, rope, etc... You only have to bring your usual equipment for walking.

The course contents are:

• Know how to move and use climbing footwear.
• Knots used in this discipline
• Techniques for belaying yourself and a second climber
• How to rappel and what modalities and phases exist within this practice.
• Setting up meetings, etc.

The activity includes the rental of material, monitor and insurance. It does not include transportation to the location of the activity, which is the responsibility of the participant. Very small groups.

Our excursions, although they can be as varied as we want, usually move between the following characteristics:

-Normally the difficulty level will be medium because we want anyone to be able to join the expedition. In addition to the possibility of participating in the routes that we finish on the same day and are part of our monthly programming, there are trips that last more than a single day.

- Before we recent adventurers have fully immersed ourselves in any itinerary, it has been subject to prior recognition by the Vía-Libre guides who will identify the safest route and ensure the absence of dangers or insurmountable difficulties for those who They are not completely accustomed to this type of activity.

- The points where we usually develop our excursions extend around the surroundings of the Madrid capital. The Gredos or Guadarrama mountains will be common destinations.

- We start from Mateo Inurria Street, with an exit to Plaza Castilla and we can choose, depending on the occasion, to share our own cars or look for a bus or public means that suits us.
