Valencia Surf Club offers you the opportunity to take surf courses at its school in which you will learn everything you need to become an experienced surfer.
They teach two levels depending on the experience we have, level I of surfing and level I of Stand Up Paddle (SUP).
Surfing, you will learn everything related to this sport: The swells and how the waves are produced, the conditions that affect surfing such as the wind, the bottom and the tides. The importance of meteorology and the prediction of winds and waves, their shape. Safety regulations and of course all the respect that the environment deserves.
You will discover the basic material: Board, the suit, the wax, the invention and the grip, as well as accessories, booties, lycra, hat and gloves.
As for learning, you will see the importance of warming up, paddling. What are the comeback to the beak and the duck. How to be at the peak and how to catch the wave and perform the take-off.
In the Stan Up Paddle or SUP course you will also learn everything related to the environment that surrounds you, to later learn about the material, in this case the board, how to choose the most appropriate board and the materials that best suit us and the rowing, whether wave or touring depending on your weight and height.
Finally you will know the technique to move on the board with the help of the paddle, to do this you will know the positions, the paddling, how to navigate with undulations and how to take advantage of the wind.
