As de Guía is a School approved by the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy that teaches Nautical and recreational navigation classes. For more than 20 years we have been the nautical academy in the Basque Country, thanks to the high number of students we have welcomed in our classrooms.

Since the founding ofAs de Guía an effort has been made to unite the theoretical and practical aspects essential for the training of good sea fans.

The theoretical courses we offer are:

• Yacht Captain
• Yacht Skipper
• Skipper of Pleasure Boats (P.E.R)
• Basic Navigation Pattern (P.N.B)

We also have sailing courses such as:

• Initiation and improvement of Cruise
• Cruiser class regatta

Ask about our sponsored activities such as weekends or outings. All these activities and courses must be booked in advance so that we can guarantee you a place.

AS de Guia is a Nautical and Recreational Navigation School approved by the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy. We are located in Las Arenas- Getxo (Vizcaya) and we have more than 20 years of experience teaching classes to obtain all nautical sports qualifications, both motor and sailing.

The technical courses thatAs de Guia Vela puts at your disposal are:

We also organize activities such as:

• Cruise Weekend, Vizcaya, East Route and West Route.
• Day trip on a cruise, Vizcaya
• Cruise Week in the Cantabrian Sea
• Sailing Cruise in Vizcaya

All these activities and courses must be booked in advance to guarantee your place. We are not dedicated to dinghy sailing. For reservations and more information, contact As de Guía Vela, who will help you in everything they can.

With As de Guía you can have our fleet of boats for your personal use by renting any of our models with which we travel along the Biscayan coast.

The only thing you have to decide is the purpose of your trip since it is a professional skipper who will govern the boat. While you can take the opportunity to let yourself be carried away by the images that these coasts leave us, sunbathe or scrutinize the marine surface in search of the fauna that we usually find in our path:

- Rental time: whatever you want, with a minimum of hours with which we mark half a day of navigation.

- Type of boat: to our three sailboats of different lengths, we add a luxury boat and two more designed to participate in regattas due to the agility of movements they allow us. All of them are between a minimum of 8 meters and a maximum of 13. Also keep in mind that traveling as passengers there are no requirements to meet.

Enjoy an original and fun bachelor or bachelorette party on board one of our sailboats.

We have three boats in the Getxo marina prepared to make your stay on board as pleasant as possible.

Our bosses have extensive experience both in personal and professional treatment, our clients are always satisfied, in fact they tend to repeat.

We organize your farewell in: morning, afternoon, with lunch or dinner on board, full day, weekend, the time you need.

On board you are allowed to bring food, drinks, costumes, music, and whatever you can think of to enjoy this original voyage.

On the full day trip we usually go to Castro, where we can anchor and enjoy a swim in the sea without the crowds that occur on the beach, and without the hassle of the sand.

Navigation will be done under sail whenever there is wind, of course. Our jewel for these events is a 13-meter boat with all the luxury of comforts on board.
