The Olympic Canal of Catalonia consists of 450,000 m2 of which 150,000 m2 are fresh water from the groundwater level.

It was built by the Institut Català del Sòl on the occasion of the 1992 Olympic Games, as the headquarters of the canoeing competitions. The Canal is 1,200 m long, 130 m wide and 4 m deep. The road that surrounds the Canal is 2,700 m long.

There are various possibilities for using the facility that adapt to different needs, both for continuous use through a family or individual subscription, and occasionally for individuals or groups. The facility can also be used with your own sports equipment, although motor boats are not allowed.
