Franito Surf School

Franito Surf School is a surf school located on the Canary Island of Lanzarote that was created in 2001 by Francisco Saenz "Franito", a Canarian surfer of high international recognition, staying at the early age of 15 years 9th in the world and 3 times champion of the Canary Islands.

In our school we work with the youngest in initiation, improvement and high performance without neglecting specialized courses for all ages and women. Franito Surf School is the official center of the Canarian Surf Federation and has all the official certificates and requirements so that you can start and perfect your surf safely.

Franito brings all his experience in the many high performance courses and trainings he attended throughout the world (Australia, Morocco, France, Peninsula and Lanzarote) with professional surfers including several world champions such as Dany Wills, Mick Campbell or Tom Carrol.

At Franito Surf School we have several levels:

• Initiation: The initiation classes are taught in Famara, an ideal beach to learn because of its sandy bottom and the softness of its waves

• Improvement: These classes are held in Famara, Santa or Caleta de Caballo depending on the quality of the waves.

• High performance training: Surf lessons combined with gymnastic tables and specific training sessions developed to quickly obtain and improve your physical potential on the board and in the waves.

• Surf Competition: We offer you the opportunity to carry out personalized programs and to groups of competitors who wish to improve their results through specific training for the development and use of surfing in competition.

In addition to this, we have two camps , one basic for children, adolescents and adults who want to learn to surf and another for surf teams who want to perfect their knowledge. practical and theoretical in this sport.

In Tinajo, on the island of Lanzarote we find our surf , Franito Surf School school. In it people of any age will be able to come to surf, being able to sign up for individual classes, as well as for excursions, as well as courses of different levels, starting with the most basic.

There is no better way to learn how to do this adventure sport than with a monitor who was only one of the best surfers in the world at just 15 years old, being in 9th place. As for the Canary Islands, he has been 3 times champion in national surfing competitions.
Francisco Saenz is his name and his nickname Franito, hence the name of the school.

With it you can give surf choosing the course that best suits your desires and level of experience:

- Initiation : basic surf learning course taught at Famara beach.

- Improvement : for those who are already surf experts and want to continue improving professionally.

- High performance : intensive surf lessons that will be preceded by training created exclusively to improve physical conditions and make them favorable to facilitate surfing learning.

- Surf Competition : We develop customized classes for groups of surf professionals who want to continue exploring their limits and expanding them.

Our surf camps are located on Famara beach or in La Santa. Ideal places to carry out this activity whatever the date, since they have a warm climate, but with a perfect sea breeze to start feeling the emotions they feel when being among the waves. Our camps for children, ages 6 to 17, are held at Christmas, Easter, Carnivals and summer .

In these we combine the learning or improvement of surfing, according to the level of each participant, with other exciting outdoor activities, both at sea and in the water.

In addition to surfing they will learn other sports , such as:

- SUP: surf model in which you also use an oar to get around. This variant can also be chosen for quiet crossings.

- Canoeing: We will do canoe routes to enjoy the time and landscapes of the island seen from the sea.

- Muay Thai: variant of boxing that has its origin in Thailand. This sport is a very complete martial art that is spreading becoming fashionable all over the world at high speed, because it combines precision with fun, among other factors.
