Ocean Friends Buceo y Apnea

Ocean Friends is a Diving and Apnea Center located in Los Abrigos, in the south of the island of Tenerife. We are a team of instructors and divemasters, great connoisseurs of the waters of Tenerife who, above all, love the seaand we want to share this passion with you.

We offer different DIVING courses and activities, aimed at both certified divers and people who want to get in touch with this activity for the first time.We work with the PADI and RAID programs, at the client's discretion.

• Discover this world with us by doing a baptism or DSD program.
• We teach both first level courses (Open Water), as well as the rest of the levels, including training such as Divemaster and all specialties.
• We will share with you the most fascinating corners of our funds, for which we offer you a wide range of dives in different areas of the Island, both coast and beach. We also have a scooter that will allow you to go on long and fun dives.

We are also passionate about the world of Apnea, which you can enter by taking one of our workshops or stages (indoor and outdoor) or taking our courses, since we teach courses at all levels. We work with the APNEA ACADEMY, PADI and SSI programs.

The boat trips that we organize from Ocean Friends are special in themselves. Enjoy an outing on the Canary Island of Tenerife that will put the finishing touch on your vacation.

• We leave from the Puerto de las Galletas. From there, a small boat in which you can go up to 10 people will take you through the Malpaís de la Rasca.

• You will discover an amazing volcanic landscape, natural coves, a surprising biodiversity that awaits curiosities that the guide will explain to you.

• Thanks to the size of our boat, we can access unique places that other larger boats cannot as it is a protected area.

• Once at the cliffs of El Palmar, we stop to admire the wonderful spectacle that the birds in the area give us. We always recommend bringing binoculars so that the enjoyment is multiplied.

• In addition, our team will distribute the snorkeling material to be able to anchor in the sea. We always choose a specific time so you can see the friendly turtles that come to visit us. Only if they are in a good mood that day.

• And on the luckiest days, some curious dolphins will pass in front of us so we can see how fun and pretty they are.

At Ocean Friends we want to share our passion with everyone who comes to the island of Tenerife, discovering the bottom of the sea, diving among amazing species and reminding everyone of the importance of respect for him.

Our diving and freediving courses are personalized to the level of each person, with instructors with a long history that will make you have an incredible experience.

• PADI, SNSI and RAID are the agencies we work with, recognized worldwide.

• Initiation courses Discovery Scuba Diving and Try Scuba are perfect for all those without previous experience who want to have a baptism to remember.

• To have some autonomy when diving you must take out the Open Water Diver, with which you can dive up to 18 meters.

• We teach specialty courses such as nitrox, night, diving for sunken ships, caves... Only suitable for the most daring.

• Those who already have some experience can access the Advanced Open Water Diver. You will specialize and acquire more knowledge, experience and confidence.

• If you are looking for a course that allows you to do emergency rescues, the Rescue Diver is yours. It is taught at the same time as the EFR, in which you will learn first aid techniques.

• The Master Scuba Diver is the highest qualification that you can obtain without being a professional.

• We also train instructors, as with our course for professionals Dive Master which allows you to work diving in any sea in the world.
