Pico, the highest mountain in Portugal and, therefore, of the Azores islands became our benchmark for naming our company Pico Sport. An island so characteristic in which the immensity of a mountain clearly stands out is the perfect setting in which to develop a complete program of activities to offer it to both tourists and locals, all for the in mensity of his mountain

Pico Sport was born more than 25 years ago, with the intention of discovering and exploring the depths of the Atlantic Ocean that bathes the island. Our company has a long history on the island. Today it is consolidated as one of the oldest diving and observation centers for whales on the island.

Our close and friendly treatment, but 100% professional has made our company the most chosen by each of you to embark on a journey by sea to discover the wild and paradisiacal environment that surrounds us. We have a staff that stands out for its worldwide experience and that always works guaranteeing responsible and sustainable activities.

At Pico Sport we explore truly captivating areas, diving in places categorized as the best in the world where you will be accompanied by authentic mammals such as sharks, dolphins and large whales. Pico Sport is one of the oldest dive centers on Pico Island ! We have a great team of international divers who experience the immensity of this paradisiacal environment to provide you with the best dives. Areas of reefs, large shoals of fish, environments inhabited by sharks, whales and dolphins are some of our main diving scenarios.

The Pico Island is a magical environment and considered one of the best areas to practice diving. It has one of the best diving areas in the world such as the Princess Alice marine bank. Its waters of a strong>blue, but transparent, make an underwater trip perfect.

At Pico Sport we have been experts in whale watching for more than 26 years. Our extensive experience allows us to carry out all kinds of activities while respecting the natural habitat of our marine friends, providing participants with a unique souvenir that they will always remember fondly.

We are one of the oldest centers on Pico Island and we have professionals with a lot of experience around the world. Our main objective is to disseminate respect for the marine environment, as well as the animals that inhabit it. During our activities you will be able to observe species that you would never have imagined seeing in person.

You will be close to all kinds of species, such as whales, dolphins, manta rays... and much more! We even have activities in which you can participate to swim with dolphins, something that you have surely thought of doing at some time but have never dared.
