At Rafting SaltaRíos we want to offer you a large number of adventure activities in the Benamejí area, in Córdoba. With the activities that we have sought, you will enjoy if you are a lover of active tourism or if you simply want to have a great experience in nature.

We want to propose different activities in the area:

• Rafting: We have chosen the Genil River to practice this spectacular sport. Although its waters are quite abundant throughout the year, we recommend you come between May and July to find the best rapids and currents.
  
• Canoeing and Kayak: if you prefer to go alone in a boat or, at most, in the company of a friend, you should choose this type of boat. We will go down the best rivers in the Córdoba area such as the Genil and we will also go to the Iznajar reservoir to enjoy the excitement in its waters.
  
• Canyoning: for this sport we will go to the Genilla River . This is a place where you will find all kinds of landscapes as you run, climb and jump through waterfalls and all kinds of natural obstacles.

In Rafting SaltaRíos we love activities in which we have to cross rivers, canyons or any type of water surface that makes us have fun. Canyoning is one of our favorite sports and we have chosen a place that you will love.

We are going to take you to the Genilla River to travel it for more than 2 hours in which there will be no lack of fun or adrenaline. During the course of this canyon you will find several rappel jumps, the highest is 18 meters and it will give you an incredible sensation when you manage to descend it. Another very special jump is the one with a waterfall, where you will get wet and enjoy the adventure in equal parts.

To be able to do canyoning you need:

• Being 16 years old: certain exercises will be done for which you have to be a little older and we will have to overcome somewhat complex obstacles.
  
• Know how to swim: the itinerary is semi-aquatic so you will spend a lot of time in pools and ponds. We ask to know how to swim so as not to have any scares that may occur with those who do not have a certain skill in the water

In addition to these obligations, we also recommend that you be in good physical shape and want to enjoy nature.

To participate in kayak activities you must be over 12 years old . It is not the only requirement that we ask of you, since you must also come in groups of 2 to 10 people .

It is also very important that you know how to swim since at first it may be difficult to catch the rhythm and you end up in the water. But do not worry because little by little you will be able to predict where the rapids take you and fight the intensity of the currents with your oars.

With the kayak you can do single day descents or participate in a course. If you choose the second option, it will be 3 days in which you will have 4 hours of navigation each day.

We make the decreases from May to September although it is only an estimate. We can extend the period depending on the river conditions and continue enjoying this sport for a few more months.
