In Red Star Surf you have the widest possibilities to come into contact with two of the main aquatic modalities in which a board intervenes. If you don't have experience, you can't go on holiday in high season or you like to make the most of that winter getaway that you take every year to the Canary Islands, your school is here in Caleta de Famara. - Learn surfing with our professional instructors: if you know how to swim you are already prepared to join our classes. Beginner, intermediate and advanced levels are offered, and they welcome adults and children from 6 years old. The attention is personalized for each student but the groups are mixed in terms of ages to ensure that the relationship between the participants has a benefit in their surfing.

- Get started in kiting step by step: we know that all the elements that are part of kitesurfing can be complex. However, by following the IKO teaching system we ensure that you advance without missing a single detail that could cause shortcomings in your future in this sport.

- Relax with yoga: we approach these classes as the ideal complement to surfing and kiteboarding. It will teach us to relax and give us flexibility by energizing our body.

At Red Star Surf we use the perfect combination that Famara offers us between its winds and waves to teach you the keys to kitesurfing. These conditions, which remain stable in practically all seasons of the year, are combined with extensive beaches where there are no rocks that compromise the safety of the student.

We can start training you even if you do not have any knowledge about this discipline since our instructors follow the methods tested and certified by the IKO International Organization. In this way they have clear procedures to follow so that you can evolve quickly and steadily with:

- Lessons for beginners: with a course that, although it does not have a fixed duration, we recommend that it be at least 3 days. This will give you the necessary time to internalize concepts related to safety, equipment, and control of the kite in the sand and in the water but without getting on the board yet. This will happen in the last phase of your program.

- Classes for intermediate levels: it will be time to work on coordination between the different parts of the body that are involved when we kitesurf. We will focus on the movements on the board and its recovery in case we become separated from it while we are in the water.

At Red Star Surf we have verified that the best time to get into this sport is any time. There is no short or excessive age to begin learning one of the sports that get the most out of the sea.

Our surf classes take place on the coast of Famara in Lanzarote. The location of the school allows us to have within reach spots with waves of all degrees within the Chinijo Archipelago Reserve. Here the climate and sea conditions are always almost perfect, which we take advantage of for programs:

- Initiation to surfing: as we are aimed at people without experience, we will stay close to the sand and we will only go into the sea where we can stand without losing sight of the monitor. We will apply ourselves thoroughly for between 4 and 5 hours with a stop to eat something healthy and comforting.

- To acquire advanced knowledge: with which surfers who are already solid on the board will be able to correct deficiencies and incorporate new techniques into their knowledge. They have the same duration as the rest of the classes to train as many hours of the day as possible.

- For surfers from 6 years old: we pay special attention to children who already know how to swim within groups of varied ages with which we ensure that some students benefit from the others. The results we obtain are quickly appreciated.

The natural characteristics of the area mean that the construction of hotels that are concentrated in points of the coast where you could not surf is not permitted.
