Description of Tablas Surf School

If you have come to Gijón for a few days and want to make the most of your time, we recommend that you leave the typical tourism plans behind and come to release adrenaline and relax on our beaches. With Tables Surf School you can disconnect from day to day and practice sports that move thousands of people every year.

We are a specialized store in surf equipment but we also offer courses for those who want to start practicing any of these sports:

Surf
Paddle Surf

Both sports will allow you to discover the sea in a different way, get closer to a philosophy of life and meet people with whom you can share your same hobby, because what we do know is that you will end up hooked on one of these sports.

We carry out courses of all levels, both surf and SUP, where we will teach theory so that you have basic notions about the sea, waves, wind conditions, types of boards, etc. We will also put what we have learned into practice and we will supervise you at all times, since our classes are very small.

We are in Gijón, Asturias . Where you can enjoy the immense beaches suitable for practicing this sport that our location offers you.

We have different courses that will adapt to both your level and your interests, where you can learn a very complete activity, in which the whole body is worked.

Our paddle surf courses can be done throughout the year and last 10 hours. If you want to take one of our one-day courses, the class will last 2 hours, both in groups and individually.

If you already have experience, we can improve your level and go further: teaching you to catch waves with the SUP board.

Surfing is that sport that you have to approach during a season throughout your life, because it is much more than a sport: it is a different way of understanding life, of connecting with nature, of understanding the grandeur of the sea. ..

In our surf school you will find courses of all levels and type of duration, designed so that everyone who wants can practice it, both those who want to start and those who come to Gijón from vacation and want to perfect their techniques.

In the initiation classes we will take care of explaining all the basics you need to know, from the types of boards there are to how waves are produced. You will understand how the tides work, what are the perfect conditions to catch waves, how to catch them according to the level, what are the techniques to stand up or go under the waves ...

After the theoretical explanations on the seashore where we will practice the standing technique several times, we will go to the water and we will be able to see if we have learned well the techniques that have been explained to us.

For those of you who have experience, we will be able to help you perfect your level by watching videos and monitors waiting for you at all times.
