Albergue S. M. Aras

Albergue S. M. Aras presents the San Miguel de Aras hostel, in the autonomous community of Cantabria.

This is a facility dedicated to holding summer camps in English during the summer season. The rest of the year it carries out activities and study trips for groups with a minimum of 25 participants.

It is ready to receive groups of:

• Associations of different kinds that have an event to organize.
• Schools and educational centers looking for a camp or going on study trips
• Groups in general of any type that have a need to solve in terms of accommodation with activities.

There are many activities that can be done:

• Sports, environmental activities, language learning, Surfing, etc
• Tourism to learn about the ethnography and culture of the north of the peninsula, always with an educational aspect.

Albergue S. M. Aras offers English camps for young people aged between 12 and 17 years old.

The courses will take place during the months of July and August in one of the most special natural environments in the Cantabria region, the San Miguel de Aras hostel.

We offer you stays of 10 days , in our 'English in Action' program that has the best teachers, since they have extensive experience in educational work and are native speakers of this language , with this we want to offer you a high quality service.

We combine teaching with various activities in order for the youngest to learn in a playful way, costing them less effort than with heavy classes. Among the activities we carry out are:

- The Cantabrian landscape is conducive to hiking trails. Explore beaches, rivers and different aspects of the environment while speaking English.

- Climbing in a climbing wall learning to hold on with arms and legs.

- Horseback riding in which to explore the surroundings of the town.

- Boat routes taking advantage of the fact that we are next to the coast.

- Numerous creativity workshops on themes that we will vary.

Surfing is one of the sports that is gaining more fans since those who practice it consider it a fascinating activity, since it is in full contact with nature and the aquatic environment.

We partner with one of the schools in the area that is characterized by having a large team of monitors , experts in this discipline and with a track record that translates into quality assurance.

During your stay you will learn fundamental notions that will allow you to learn more about a wonderful sport. We adapt to all levels, for this reason we offer you courses from initiation to improvement, in order to adapt to your most particular conditions.

Through our classes, both theoretical and practical, you will start in a world from which you will not be able to escape. In addition, as a camp we will complete each of the days with other activities that will make us enjoy a complete stay in every way.
