Washi Camp

Washi Camp We are the camp specialists of the Washi Activities group. Our programs take place in national destinations, such as in the Comarca de la Vera, and in others outside our borders. They have in common a team of free time monitors, coordinators and qualified professionals in different fields of education.

Some of the ones we offer each year are:

- Vera Multiaventura Camp : for registrations between 7 and 16 years old in July and August with 15-day shifts. We will be at the Asociación Vera Hostel taking advantage of the complex itself and the Sierra de Gredos for recreational and sports activities.

- Vera Summer Adventure Camp : it is our main English camps where we receive children of at least 6 years and up to an age of 14. We will go to Cáceres and Romanogordo to El Quinto Pino pool and the facilities provided by the Puerta de Monfragüe.

- Urban camps in schools : in different parts of Madrid in the morning or also in the afternoon for children of primary and child. It is the perfect option for parents who have to continue with their work calendar when the kids are on vacation.

In Washi Camp we have alternatives that perfectly combine adventure camps with learning the English language. Vera Summer Adventure Camp opens for this in July at the hostel in Caceres El Quinto Pino and in August at the Puerta de Monfragüe , facilities located in Romangordo.

We turn with these options to boys and girls who are between 6 and 14 years old . Our mission is that English is used, understood and learned in a natural way while the activities of the camp are carried out using this language as the main vehicle of communication. The camp consists of:

- Sports and games : such as orientation competitions, outdoor excursions, treasure hunting, mountain bikes and various water modalities.

- Parties and evenings every night : so that the participants have fun with new surprises in each day we will use costumes and music with different environments.

There is the option of requesting transfer to the hostel by bus from Badajoz or Madrid capital. The children will be supervised from the moment they arrive at the camp until they return home on the last day.

The urban camps of Washi Camp fulfill the mission of providing parents with the quality solution they are looking for so that their children are cared for during the holidays while they work.

We go beyond this objective by entertaining and training participants with gymkhanas, sports and activities in English under the direction of qualified teachers. They are held in different facilities depending on the demand such as:

- The Severo Ochoa Summer School : from the end of June to mid-August in Móstoles. It is aimed at students in the cycles of early childhood and primary education. The children are received from 8 am in the morning and will be with us until after lunch at 3 pm, on a first shift, and until 5 pm for those parents who require extended hours.

- Facilities of the Andrés Explorer College : also for children's and primary courses with a morning schedule from 9 am to 2 pm in the afternoon. The activities incorporate the English language so that children do not lose contact with the language.

At Washi Camp we continue to give life to the Camp Multiadventure , a program with three decades of history that continues to receive children every summer with the same success.

It takes place in the Vera Association Hostel , located in the town of Jaraíz with the Sierra de Gredos as an exceptional environment. Participants who are at least 7 years old can register and do not exceed 16. We open dates in the months of July and August.

The rate for each fortnight of camp includes accommodation in full board sleeping on bunk beds. We also put buses both back and forth from the cities of Madrid and Badajoz to reach the facilities. We will have:

- Leisure and sports activities : such as archery, canoeing, hiking, painting war and workshops of topics that we will vary to arouse interest in children.

- Excursions : we will go out around the area, approaching points such as Garganta de la Olla and Pedro Chate, where the lake of Jaraíz de la Vera is located.

- Special parties : during the day and night to dance and dress up.

Enrollees are attended and coordinated by a qualified teaching and healthcare team permanently available to them.
