Bulderking

Bulderking was inaugurated in 1999, in the Madrid neighborhood of Carabanchel. It was the first climbing venue that opened to the public in Madrid. Since then our facilities have functioned as a club, serving as a training center, social headquarters and meeting point for hundreds of climbers who have taken some turns among its thousands of holds scattered on roofs, plates and terrible collapses.

In May 2006, they pulled out all the stops, loosened a million screws and a few thousand euros and moved the structures to a neighboring premises, which was dedicated to “tunning”!, much larger, more ventilated and open-plan.
With the invaluable help of countless good friends, in recent months they have become Tetris champions and qualified doctors of all known trades and others not yet catalogued.

The result: a new Bulderking with more than 300 climbable square meters and no less than 3,000 resin grips; two changing rooms with showers; campus board and suspension tables; a small climbing wall about 5 m high aimed at teaching, and even an area for a mini-gym.
