Club Deportivo Orca

The Orca Sports Club is an association that develops diving activities on the coast of Gijón, in Asturias. The underwater bottom of the Cantabrian Sea at your fingertips.

We offer sport diving courses of all levels accredited by the Spanish Federation of Underwater Activities:

• Diving baptism: A first contact with diving. It is a simple course in which a brief theory will be given and then an immersion assisted by instructors.
• One star diver course: Initiation course with international accreditation after which you will be able to make dives up to 20 meters deep, 25 once you have completed the practice period. The minimum age to do it is 12 years.
• Two-star diver course: Sports diving improvement course with which you can dive up to 30 meters deep.
• Three-star diver course: Course to achieve the experienced level of sport diving with which you can do dives of up to 40 meters.

Specialized diving courses:

• Life support and CPR with which to know how to deal with a medical emergency.
• Oxygen administration and accidents during a dive.
• Underwater navigation
• Night diving in the complete absence of natural light.
• Deep diving
• In sunken ships

We dive in the vicinities of Gijón, both in places of shallow depth (no more than 15 meters) and low difficulty to very deep places of more than 40 meters that require extensive diving experience.< /p>

The marine activity is in all cases very high and rich, as well as the wrecks that we can find.
