We welcome you to Camping Puente Nuevo. An idyllic place located in Villaviciosa de Córdoba, in the heart of the Sierra Morena. We are between the Hornachules Natural Park, a biosphere reserve, and the Puente Nuevo Reservoir, so we believe our natural environment is simply unbeatable.

At Camping Puente Nuevo we have prepared a perfect activity for all those who want to discover one of the water sports that gains the most followers every year: canoeing.

We offer you an accelerated course with which you will learn to handle a canoe and become a true fan of this sport. The course takes place in thePuente Nuevo reservoir, a uniquely beautiful place that has the ideal conditions to carry out the activity.

This reservoir is located between the municipalities of Bélmez, Espiel and Villaviciosa de Córdoba, a strategic location. Its use is very varied, since numerous water sports can be practiced there, but it is also the main source of water and electricity supply for the region. Sport fishing and free bathing are also allowed.

The activity is carried outwithout a monitor so you will learn at your own pace without following guidelines, setting your own pace. We provide you with the canoe (or kayak if you prefer), the paddles and the life jackets.

At Camping Puente Nuevo we have prepared for our visitors more than 20 km of routes where you can get to know nature and the varied flora and fauna that surrounds us. All tours start from our facilities and end at the same point. Each trail has its own characteristics and varies in length and difficulty, choose the one that best suits you!

If you wish, you can hire a guide from our team who will accompany you along the routes and provide you with information about the landscapes that you will find along the way.

Upon your return you will be able to use all the facilities of the campsite to make yourself comfortable: bathrooms, showers, swimming pool, kitchen, etc. Ask when booking about the availability of the accommodation and we will inform you without obligation.

The Puente Nuevo reservoir is located in the middle of the Cordoba mountains , in a landscape dotted with hills and pine forests through which you can walk and disconnect from the problems of daily life. In addition, it is very close to Córdoba so after completing the activity you will be able to visit the capital and enjoy its wide range of leisure and restaurant services.

In these waters you can find a great variety of specimens of cyprinids, bass and pike . There is also a small population of eels . All this is guaranteed by the presence of a thermal power station on the banks, since the water is at a higher temperature and, therefore, favors activity and allows fishing even in the coldest winter months.

Many of these trails are found around the campsite and are characterized by their circular route. It is a perfect way to get to know the landscapes that surround us and to exercise outdoors with your friends and family.

It is not necessary to be a professional or have an excellent physical condition as there are routes adapted to all levels . Our team will be happy to help you and recommend the route that best suits your circumstances.

The rental price includes the mandatory protective equipment so that you do not run any risk. In addition, you can rent by the hour or full days , depending on your circumstances and needs.

We have bicycles for the whole family , even for the little ones.
