Club de Montaña Nemus

The Nemus Mountain Club is an association located in Torrejón de Ardoz whose main mission is to bring adventure sports in the mountains and also in the city to everyone. with their proposals for activities and meetings.

Enjoy one of our activities in environments such as those offered by the Sierra de Madrid and other areas of the peninsula to which we can travel with our organized trips.

We have:

• Climbing: Courses of various levels to learn to progress through the rock, with sports routes, classic routes and ascents to peaks of various mountain systems.
• Climbing in a climbing wall: Inside a pavilion in Torrejón de Ardoz you can climb through numerous well-equipped routes with a multitude of holds, also having 2 roof areas.
• Orientation days: We teach you the necessary notions to fend for yourself in the mountains and we do excursions with mountain tests to demonstrate what you have learned.
• Hiking: Walking routes through the mountains of Madrid and other places with magnificent hiking days of several hours.

To get started with climbing, what better way to practice than to practice near your home, in a covered place and with all the comforts that a climbing wall provides. InTorrejón de Ardoz you can find facilities inside a pavilion for climbing in its so-called “Climbing Wall”.

We have 180 m2 of wall for you to climb through easy and more complicated routes with more than 3,000 holds to hold onto and climb to the top.

There are 14 different routes and 2 roof areas for those who want to try the most complicated part of the climbing wall.

There will always be a monitor attentive to each person's progress along the wall. We have climbing equipment such as helmets, ropes and harnesses.

The Nemus Mountain Club is a center from which different activities and courses are organized so that lovers of climbing and mountaineering can enjoy the practice of this mountain sport. mountain.Our headquarters are located in the Madrid town of Torrejón de Ardoz, from which we organize all our expeditions.

We do climbing courses for beginners and beginners and for people with extensive experience in this modality. There will be a theoretical part although most of the courses will be made up of rock practice in theSierra de Guadarrama, Mondalindo and Valdemanco.

The climbing calendar runs from April to September.

The courses are made up of 3 classes.

At the Nemus Mountain Club we go on excursions very regularly through the Sierra de Madrid, Gredos and other mountain spots in our geography. We forget the stress of everyday life and enjoy the peace and harmony generated by the healthy environments of the mountains.

Our plans cover different disciplines related to hiking and trekking such as mountaineering, mountaineering and night outings in good weather in summer.

We make expeditions to other places outside the peninsula to the Alps, French Pyrenees, Andes, etc.

The group will be led by one of our guides from the beginning of the route and will provide us with a lot of valuable information about what we see.
