Club Icaro UPM

Within the Club Ícaro UPM we seek to promote outdoor sports through adventure activities scheduled during all times of the year. We are a young and fresh association, with a great atmosphere and that performs very dynamic and fun exercises. We belong to the Polytechnic University of Madrid , although our members do not have to have any kind of relationship with that entity.

At our side you can make different outings through the Sierra de Madrid to enjoy nature and sports, as well as exclusive offers in various activities in the center. If you are part of our Club, you will be able to propose weekly destinations to which you want to go so that we can all form an expedition and organize the itinerary. For larger groups we will carry out exclusive routes where the fun is not diminished.

The fee that you must pay is annual and this gives you access to our facilities and the use of materials whenever you want, taking into account that within the association you will find library areas, kitchen and a climbing wall. Adventure lovers will see their expectations fulfilled from the first minute with Climbing and Paintball activities throughout the year, as well as Caving and Diving during the spring and summer months. In addition, in the winter season we will practice Skiing and Snowboarding .

Although we belong to the Polytechnic University of Madrid, it is not necessary to be a student to be able to sign up, you just have to have a passion for this sport and a desire to continue enjoying it. You will have free access to the premises and the materials that we have so that you can make use of them independently. In the training area we also have a climbing wall where you can enjoy climbing, as well as a kitchen and library area.

Nor is it an essential requirement to carry out all the outings that we are going to schedule, sign up for the one you like the most and spend an incredible day surrounded by nature in the Sierra de Madrid.

In our association you will find people with the same tastes and preferences, who seek to practice outdoor sports surrounded by friends and in an exceptional environment.

We operate within the scope of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, but it is not necessary to be a student in order to be in our club. You will only have to pay an annual fee that entitles you to free access to our facilities and the free use of all the material you need. You can take it out to practice sports autonomously, as well as enter the climbing wall to play sports whenever you want. You can even enjoy discounts on other activities of the association.

We schedule activities according to season , but you don't have to do them all. Choose the one you like the most and come with us to have a great time practicing Snow, we will welcome you with open arms and you will find a great environment to practice what you like the most in the Sierra de Madrid.

The Club Ícaro UPM is an association belonging to the Universidad Politécncia de Madrid, made up of students and non-students who are true lovers of nature and adventure sports. If you are like them, do not hesitate to join their group in which you will meet people with the same tastes, you can go on excursions and practice various activities that will make you enjoy like never before.
