The rivers of the High Aragonese Pyrenees are the setting that Jaca Guides Company uses for exciting as well as refreshing aquatic experiences descending the rapid and vertiginous mountain channels .

We ride you on one of these boats made for two people to board and we take you downstream through the waters of rivers such as Ésera, Ara or Gállego . They are already classic rivers in the descent of whitewater in the Pyrenees. Apart from being aware of the boat, take advantage of the landscape and the wonderful views it offers you, it will be a unique experience for your senses.

Each of the rivers has several sections divided with different difficulties, so depending on your experience in kayaking or in another modality, you can one or another section. Whatever you choose, what is clear is that you will end up in the water at some point. You can take a water camera and immortalize this beautiful memory.

Of course, we will give you some small guidelines before heading down the river so that you know what you are sticking to and feel safer in the kayak.

In the ravines of the Pyrenees and the Sierra de Guara of the province of Huesca, canyoning is a simply spectacular activity. The Jaca Guides Company takes you through an incredible variety of routes and levels of difficulty, each one more surprising.

Especially the Sierra de Guara contains a number of ravines out of the ordinary, with itineraries full of magnificent landscapes between rock cuttings, waterfalls and pools. And if what you like are the vertical ravines and with more flow the canyons of the Pyrenees will make you fall in love.

You can go through all these places well equipped with harnesses, ropes, helmet and other material. We will form expeditions with groups of similar level through the ravine that adapts to your conditions.

We can find up to 3 levels of canyons, being able to start canyoning with the first ones and progressing to the most exciting and technical routes.

None of the descents is less than 2 hours in duration, also taking into account about 30 minutes of approach to the starting point of the descent.

Jaca Guides Company organizes rafting days on the Ara, Ésera and Gállego rivers between beautiful high mountain valleys. Although you will not have much time to admire the landscape since the descents will demand your full attention to go over the obstacles of the channel. You have to try to keep your balance and organize the paddles. Don't worry if you fall into the water, get on the boat and start over.

Up to 9 people plus the invaluable presence of the monitor will make up the river route along the river. There are different difficulties in terms of the characteristics of the waters, some more bearable and others very wild with large rapids and waterfalls.

We will equip you with all the rafting equipment so that you only focus on grasping the handle of the raft well and rowing hard to maintain the stability of the boat.

The hydrospeed whitewater descent modality is possibly the one that causes the most intense sensations since it descends practically at the level of the river water. If you dare to check it out for yourself, we will provide you with a table and we will accompany you along the Gállego River to try it.

We descend this river that runs through the valley of Tena on the way to Sabiñánigo between rapid waters with jumps and turbulent areas ideal for practicing hydrospeed.

You will need a contact and some brief explanations beforehand to get used to the handling of the board and the feeling of wearing fins on your feet, essential to propel yourself in the water. If you like great emotions this will be an incredible activity that you will surely want to repeat. Enjoy and download all the adrenaline to feel like a fish in water.

The duration of the descent will be between 1 hour and a half and 2 hours during which a guide will follow the entire group downstream.

You will be able to experience the fantastic sensations of speed and freshness while you describe incessant curves and almost surf the waters.

Jaca Guide Company takes you off the ski slopes and takes you off-piste to practice the so-called freeride on slopes with almost intact snow and that is a real joy to ski. We move around the Astún and Candanchú ski resorts.

Whether you know how to ski or not, it is highly recommended that you join our off-piste ski courses since the snow conditions are different from those found within the station. In addition there are more surprising elements having to execute different maneuvers. When you finish the experience you will want to repeat it again and you will know how to handle different snowy terrain,

We have three levels of difficulty according to the competences of each one in off-piste skiing. Our groups will have a maximum of 6 students per monitor. So do not worry if you are not an expert, you can go for more advisable terrain for your level of experience in the snow.

The duration of the classes will be 2 hours.

The ski slopes of the Astún and Candanchú resorts in the Pyrenees of Huesca are two perfect spots for you to come and practice your favorite winter sport, snowboarding.

With our group or private lessons you will have a magnificent opportunity to increase your technique and skills on the snowboard. Feel like an acrobat while testing the power in the snow.

You will be able to launch yourself to try new maneuvers and jump down slopes that you have never dared to go down. We will even do off-piste descents to experience new sensations. There is no better way to release tension than to slide on a board and feel the speed in first person.

It does not matter if you have an expert or a beginner level, the monitors will be with you and will give you the keys so that you know how to manage without problem in each of the enclaves adapted for this activity.

Either with 2-day or 5-day classes from Monday to Friday with 2 hours a day our team of instructors will do everything possible to ensure that you have a pleasant day and progress in your level.

The high Pyrenean mountains and their splendid winter snowy landscapes are a sight that you cannot miss. We put our snowshoes on your feet so you can go out with us for a walk through the snow and see everything the Pyrenees has to offer.

Snowshoeing is one of the most pleasant and easy winter activities out there. They do not require a refined technique or remarkable physical conditions and / or aptitudes.

We take as a base the area of the Astún and Candanchú ski resorts , near the Port of Somport. From there we leave through the forests on the way to the most absolute tranquility provided by the mountains and the valleys of the Pyrenees.

Join us and try one of our journeys:

• Half-day snowshoe route : Simple routes without much unevenness around the stations.
• Full day excursion: We look for some peaks such as Pic de Moines or Aspe and areas of great beauty such as the Forest of Hallas or the lakes of Anayet.
• 2 days of crossing: Authentic adventure with snowshoes with night in refuge doing circular routes between the French-Spanish border.

The group ratio ranges from a minimum of 2 people to a maximum of 12 people.

What routes do we do? Here are some proposals for one or several days through the Spanish and French Pyrenees:

• Circuit through the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park: We go from refuge to refuge through this fantastic protected environment through the long-distance trail GR-11.
• Through the ibones de la Jacetania: We leave from Jaca to visit these geological formations so typical of the Pyrenees. Every day we return to spend the night in Jaca.
