At the Jaca Ski School we know the snow and the different sports that are practiced there. All our teachers are qualified, which offers the student a much safer and much more rewarding experience.

Our team is made up of young and highly motivated ski teachers for introductory classes with children, off-piste ski instructors who are also high mountain guides for freeride courses and classes, mountain ski outings and treks in the Pyrenees and Alps. . And specialized mountain guides to provide safety and fun on your snowshoe excursions. They will be in charge of taking you into it:

- Alpine skiing: on the slopes for those who want to improve their technique without giving up having a good time. With a modern and fun teaching methodology. Always in small groups.

- Freeride or Off-Piste Skiing: specialized classes and courses, so you can learn the best techniques for skiing on all types of snow and all the slopes. In addition to doing it safely against the dangers of the winter mountains: avalanches, glaciers, etc...

- Snowboard: we teach you through private classes or courses in blocks of two or more days or lessons 5 days per week Monday to Friday.

- Ski touring: day trips or trips sleeping in shelters in the Pyrenees or Alps, always with the help of a guide high mountain. You will live a unique experience.

- Snowshoes: a modality suitable for anyone who wants to take advantage of the snow without pressure and without the tension of facing a new sport. We schedule half-day, full-day or 2-day excursions with accommodation in a refuge.

And if you are looking for something more specific like telemark or off-piste or freeride skiing, you can also count on us.

At the Jaca Ski School we want to transmit to you, in addition to our knowledge as professionals, the same sensations that we obtain on each day of skiing.

Our team is made up of internationally trained instructors and guides, experts both on and off the track, who will help you complete your classes in the following modalities:

- Alpine skiing: in private and group classes, with maximum flexibility when choosing the hours of training you need and the number of participants who wish to share the lesson. We also give you the option of improving your off-piste skills or hiring an intensive course to advance as much as possible in 2 days.

- Free ride: for those who are not satisfied with staying in the controlled areas of the station, we train you in the necessary skills to launch yourself on the most extreme slopes.

- Ski touring: we will travel within the Pyrenees, or even in the Alps, for an activity in which we will combine exciting excursions equipped with our equipment to face descents of virgin snow.

In winter you can also enjoy the favorable weather and sunny days with the snowshoe excursions that we propose from the Jaca Ski School.

We are expert mountain guides, with extensive knowledge in all disciplines related to snow, thanks to which we have the ability to navigate snowy slopes and forests, always guaranteeing your safety during the experience.

Whatever your choice, we will provide you with the rackets and clubs. It will be this material that helps you move on icy surfaces. The snowshoes keep your feet from sinking into the snow when you walk and the poles will serve as support. Our options:

- Half-day excursion: the alternative that we recommend if you want to try it for the first time or are in a group not too accustomed to physical exercise.

- Full-day snowshoe outing: ideal for completely disconnecting from the rest of the world. Throughout a whole day we will dedicate ourselves to exploring the forests covered in white.

- 2-day snowshoe trek with shelter: a complete snow adventure in which, to add safety, we include the ARVA emergency device, shovel and probe.

With the Jaca Ski School if you like snowboarding this season you will thoroughly enjoy it. We have the material ready, always new in perfect condition for you to use and from recognized brands.

With these elements and our extensive training as mountain guides and winter sports instructors, we will teach you how to move with your board in courses adapted to the hours you have available:

- Private classes: perfect if you want the instructor to focus solely on you. Your choice is the number of hours you want me to dedicate to you.

- Collective lessons: join your friends and reserve a class for your group in which our objective will be to master the board.

- 2-day snow course: a proposal focused on helping you advance quickly by intensifying the lessons with a first day for getting in touch and the second to repeat until you have control of the material.

- 5-day weekly course: taught from Monday to Friday, they are the most complete and comfortable way of learning.

At the Jaca Ski School we prepare intensively each winter season so that those of you who practice, or want to start, cross-country skiing, have everything ready as soon as it starts to snow.

You will usually find us at the Astún station where we have a physical office so it will be very convenient for you to contact us. From there we will assist you by informing you of what options you have to access both this way of moving on the snow and the material for cross-country skiing:

- We will start by preparing the essential equipment so that you can be comfortable and have all the elements needed for one of these outings. You will carry skis and poles that will serve as support as you take each step.

- Clothes, of course, will also be important. You are going to be outdoors in the middle of winter so you need to come very warm but with flexible clothing in which you can move well.

- The instructions for the expedition will also be given to you by us as professional guides specialized in winter sports. This way it will be very easy for you to learn on the spot.

From the Astún ski resort we can propose several alternatives so that you can combine them with each other or focus directly on your favorite.

- Skiing: the classic in the snow season, bring your equipment so we can give you a group class or let us take care of even the material.

- Snowboard: in case you are one of those who prefer only the board. You will see that the sensations are different and so is the way of learning.

- Snowshoes: an activity that everyone can do without excuse because a brief explanation is enough to be able to go on an excursion with snowshoes on.
