At the Jaca Ski School we know the snow and the different sports that are practiced there. All of our teachers are qualified, which offers a much safer and more rewarding student experience.

Our team is made up of young and highly motivated ski teachers for introductory classes with children, off-piste ski instructors who are also high mountain guides for freeride courses and classes, mountain ski outings and crossings in the Pyrenees and Alps. . And specialized mountain guides to provide safety and fun on your snowshoe excursions. They will be in charge of getting you into it:

- Alpine skiing : on slopes for those who want to improve their technique without giving up having fun. With a modern and fun teaching methodology. Always in small groups.

- Freeride or Off-Piste Ski : specialized classes and courses, so that you learn the best techniques for skiing on all types of snow and all slopes. In addition to doing it safely against the dangers of winter mountains: avalanches, glaciers, etc ...

- Snowboard : we teach you through private classes or courses in blocks of two or more days days or lessons 5 days a week Monday through Friday.

- Ski Touring: day trips or trips sleeping in shelters in the Pyrenees or Alps, always in the hands of a guide high mountain. You will live a unique experience.

- Snowshoes : a modality suitable for anyone who wants to take advantage of the snow without pressure and without the stress of facing a new sport. We program half-day, full-day or 2-day excursions with accommodation in a refuge.

In the Jaca Ski School we want to transmit to you, in addition to our knowledge as professionals, the same sensations that we obtain on each day of skiing.

Our team is made up of instructors and guides with international training, experts both on and off the track, who will help you complete your classes in the following modalities:

- Alpine skiing : in private and collective classes, with maximum flexibility when choosing the hours you need for training and the number of participants who want to share a lesson. We also give you the option to improve your off-track skills or hire an intensive course to advance as much as possible in 2 days.

- Free ride : for those who are not content to stay in the controlled areas of the station, we train you in the skills necessary to launch yourself through the most extreme tracks.

- Cross-country skiing : we will travel within the Pyrenees, or even the Alps, for an activity in which we will combine exciting excursions equipped with our material to face virgin snow descents.

In winter you can also enjoy the favorable weather and sunny days with the snowshoe excursions that we propose from the Jaca Ski School .

We are expert mountain guides, with extensive knowledge in all disciplines related to snow, thanks to which we have the ability to move through slopes and snowy forests, always guaranteeing your safety during the experience.

Whatever your choice, the rackets and poles are provided by us. It will be this material that will help you move on frozen surfaces. Snowshoes keep your feet from sinking into the snow when walking and poles will support you. Our options:

- Half-day excursion : the alternative that we recommend if you want to try it for the first time or if you make up a group not too used to physical exercise.

- Full-day snowshoeing : ideal to completely disconnect from the rest of the world. Throughout a whole day we will dedicate ourselves to touring the forests covered in white.

- 2-day snowshoeing with shelter : a complete adventure in the snow in which, to add security, we include the ARVA emergency device, shovel and probe.

With the Jaca Ski School if you like snowboarding this season you will enjoy it thoroughly. We have the material ready, always new in perfect condition for you to use and from recognized brands.

With these elements and our extensive training as mountain guides and winter sports instructors, we will teach you to move with your board in courses adapted to the hours you have:

- Private classes : perfect if you want the instructor to focus solely on you. Your choice is the number of hours you want me to dedicate to you.

- Collective lessons : join your friends and reserve a class for your group in which our objective will be to achieve mastery of the table.

- 2-day snow course : a proposal focused on getting you to advance quickly, intensifying the lessons with a first day to make contact and the second to repeat until you gain control of the material.

- Weekly 5-day course : taught from Monday to Friday, they are the most complete and comfortable way of learning.

In the Ski School of Jaca we prepare intensively every winter season so that those who practice, or want to start, in cross-country skiing, have everything ready as soon as it starts to snow.

You will usually find us at the Astún station where we have a physical office, which will make it very convenient for you to turn to us. From there we will assist you informing you of what options you have to access both this way of moving on the snow and the material because for cross-country skiing:

- We will start by preparing you the essential equipment so that you can be comfortable and have all the elements that are needed for one of these outings. You will carry skis and poles that will serve as support when you take each step.

- Clothing, of course, will also be important. You will be outdoors in the middle of winter so it is necessary that you come very warm but with flexible garments with which you can move well.

- We will also give you the instructions for the expedition as professional guides and specialized in winter sports. So it will be very simple to learn on the ground.
