Llanos del Hospital

Llanos del Hospital is a Nordic ski resort located in the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park, very close to Pico Aneto, in the province of Huesca. This location is unbeatable for cross-country skiing in some of the most beautiful places in the Aragonese Pyrenees.

It has 3 circuits, one of each level: 5-kilometer green circuit, 18-kilometer blue circuit and 5-kilometer red circuit. In this way, skiers of all levels can enjoy their facilities.

It also has all the necessary services for a ski resort such as:

- School: learn to do cross-country skiing with qualified and experienced teachers. You can start from scratch or, if you already have a good level, join higher level groups.

- Material rental: in Llanos del Hospital you have more than 300 pairs of cross-country skis to rent, with all possible characteristics so that you can find the ones that best suit you.

- Restaurant: Nothing better to regain strength after a day of exercise in the snow than a good meal at the station restaurant.

Llanos del Hospital Esquí is the cross-country ski school at the Llanos del Hospital resort, in the Aragon Pyrenees. Here you can take group or individual courses in the two main types of cross-country skiing: classic or skating. Furthermore, so that everyone can progress at their own pace and always feel comfortable with their peers, there are different levels: initiation, improvement and competition. The teacher will be in charge of determining the level of each student with a level test.

The groups are very small to facilitate learning and also interaction between all students. In addition, the teachers are all graduates with a lot of experience in practicing this sport, who know all the tricks and techniques.

If you want to do cross-country skiing on your own, you can also hire individual classes for hours where you will be accompanied at all times by a teacher who will correct you and give you advice, in addition to guiding you through the best circuits.

Llanos del Hospital Estaciones de Esquí is a cross-country ski resort located in Benasque, province of Huesca, in the Aragonese Pyrenees. It has 3 main circuits:

- Hospital Plan: Green track with a length of 5 to 7 kilometers and a slope of 50 meters. This track is ideal for people who are just starting to practice cross-country skiing. It presents practically no difficulty and the physical effort required is very moderate.

- Plan del Estan: Blue track with a length of 18 kilometers along which there is a difference in altitude of 150 meters. This is a track that is already somewhat more difficult, although in any case manageable. It is also the longest in the station, and traveling its 18 kilometers requires considerable physical effort.

- Besurta Plan: Red track that is 5 kilometers long and has a slope of 99 meters. This track is recommended for advanced skiers who already have some experience skiing on all types of circuits. It is important to have good technique.

The resort also has other services typical of this type of establishment, such as equipment rental service and cross-country ski school. There is also hotel/spa accommodation.

We are located at more than 1750 meters above sea level in a Natural Park. In these facilities we offer you:

• Cross-country ski tracks: There are three different ones so you can choose the one that best suits your level. They are perfectly marked and prepared to practice this type of skiing, so it will be your best choice if you are a professional.
  
• Ski circuits: there are three itineraries that cover the mountain to the last corner. You will pass through the northern area of Aneto and we will give you the choice between different degrees of difficulty when choosing the excursion.

At Llanos del Hospital we prepare excursions through our closest surroundings, a unique place to explore on foot. These routes are quite simple, we will only be walking with snowshoes for 2 and a half hours.

In snowshoe outings the materials are included as well as the guide service. They know the mountains very well and will make this trip an unforgettable experience. As this activity is just a small initiation, anyone can participate, so it can be a good plan to enjoy the mountains with your family.

Snowshoe routes are very fun, you can take the opportunity to bring your friends and have a great time among the snowy paths or convince your co-workers to do a Team Building day.

The sleigh rides that we organize in Llanos del Hospital are an unparalleled experience. It is an experience to do as a family and in which we will become protagonists ofBalto's story.

Brownhead, a fun gold prospector who is part of our team, will guide us through the snow and help us discover the world of Balto. This way we will get on the sleds and the dogs will take us through landscapes worthy of the Alaska area and we will make you believe that you are reaching Mount Mckingley.

This activity includes both the mushing ride and the animation by our instructors, which will be 45 minutes in total. 2 people can go on the sleds at a time and we can use more than one so that all members of the family can participate in this adventure.
