With Gesportur snowboarding will be the key to your winter seasons because we are going to make it easier for you to practice whatever the sense you need.

Walking is an intrinsic fact of the human being, it is healthy and one of the best ways to know the natural environment closest to our place of residence, allowing us to open our eyes to places that we surely did not know we were so close.

Palencia will be our usual meeting point from where:

- We will meet previously in search of the itinerary that is most worthwhile. To do this, we will make a small evaluation of the conditions of the group of people that we are going to leave. We will pay special attention to the ages of the members of the excursion and the physical resistance to which they are accustomed, since it is not the same to propose a path to someone who never exercises as to another for whom it does not pose any challenge.

- On the day of departure we have to choose to be comfortable. Footwear is essential because good shoes are what will allow us to endure until the end. Water is also essential to avoid dehydration, something dangerous especially if we walk in full sun. Carrying a small backpack on your back or a light bag will be good for us.

At Gesportur we accompany you to inspect underground paths through spelunking, starting with the Palencia caves. For one of these adventures under the earth we will let go of any kind of claustrophobia and we will have our own means to advance, which we will do at a slow pace, being aware of where we step and always waiting for all the participants of the group, since:

- Keep in mind that in any natural cave there is no artificial light, and that of the sun does not usually penetrate much beyond the entrance. For this reason, we will give you a helmet with a frontal (as the small flashlight that is worn on the forehead is called). This point of light is the only one that will give us the references to move around the cave, so we will have to limit ourselves to checking well what we have under our feet step by step.

- Throughout the cave, the terrain will be uneven, and will alternate larger rooms with passageways and catholes , sometimes very narrow, through which we will not be able to walk on foot. Therefore, to do a day of caving, get the idea of dragging yourself for more than one section to get to the starting point.

At Gesportur BTT we love touring the landscapes of our land on this marvelous vehicle that is absent from all contamination and which contributes positively to our physical fitness. A good way to stay in shape and enjoy nature and the landscapes of Palencia.

This bike is designed for the sport field on rough terrain. Also called mountain bike or all-terrain bicycle (BTT), it will take you to new terrain that you will enjoy from another perspective while doing a healthy sport. Remember that not everyone can reach the corners to which we will take you, what are you waiting for to come and meet us?

We carry out BTT routes of different levels and duration , making different types of routes according to the experience or level of our clients. Even families with young children will be able to enjoy the surroundings and the activity.

Rappelling is one of the techniques whose learning will be most useful to you since you can apply it to many of the adventure activities that you want to practice. At Gesportur we teach you from the base how to descend on different terrain without playing with your safety or that of the other members of the expedition.

You may need to rappel down after a section of climbing or to save great heights during a canyoning descent. In the latter case, it will be very common for the technique to be complicated by being next to a stream of water or under a strong waterfall. Do not lose your nerves because we will help you control the situation:

- You will be strongly secured to a rope , with specific knots and carabiners for outdoor activities. It will be your main point of support when going down to the ground.

- The abseil may be assisted by another person who will be the one who will manage the length of the rope until you reach flat terrain. However, your role does not have to be passive since you can go down by leaning your feet against the wall (if there is one), to control your speed more precisely.

Going for a walk in the forest or in the mountains is a healthy habit that we do not have to lose. However, this should not be an excuse for us to be careless because getting lost can be easier than it seems. That's why at Gesportur , we combine our excursions with orientation lessons so that this never happens to you. We want you to always have a clear path home.

Through the concepts on orientation that we will work on:

- We will learn how to use a compass . Locating north in any situation is the basis for knowing where we are. In addition, this device with so many years of history will not run out of batteries and will be able to help you in all cases.

- How to use the paddle correctly : in the event that you decide to occupy a two-seater boat, both passengers must be coordinated to row and move in the direction you want.

- Basic safety measures : you will wear a life jacket and the canoe is quite stable so it will be difficult for any problems to arise. Still, we will deal with it before your departure.
