With Gesportur snowboarding will be the key to your winter seasons because we are going to make it easier for you to practice whatever direction you need.

If you are impatiently waiting for it to start snowing to refresh what you already know how to do on the board, we will help you do it in excellent technical conditions. If in your case you are wondering if you would be able to handle this sport, we can also teach you from scratch. We will explain to you:

- The main elements that you will have to use: the fundamental one is the table. You will have both feet on it fixed with special boots for this discipline. Until you get used to standing, don't worry about ever falling to the ground, it's completely normal.

Walking is an intrinsic fact of being human, it is healthy and one of the best ways to get to know the natural environment closest to our place of residence, allowing us to open our eyes to places that we surely did not know were so close.

Palencia will be our usual meeting point from where:

- We will meet beforehand to find the itinerary that is most worthwhile to us. To do this, we will do a small evaluation of the conditions of the group of people we are going to leave. We will pay special attention to the ages of the members of the excursion and the physical resistance to which they are accustomed, since it is not the same to propose a route to someone who never exercises as to another for whom it does not pose any challenge.
- On the day of departure we have to choose to be comfortable. Footwear is essential because good shoes are what will allow us to last until the end. Water is also essential to avoid dehydration, something dangerous especially if we walk in full sun. Carrying a small backpack on your back or a light bag will be good for us.

At Gesportur we accompany you to inspect underground paths through caving, starting with the Palencia caves. For one of these underground adventures we will get rid of any type of claustrophobia and we will have our own means to move forward, which we will do at a slow pace, being aware of where we are stepping and always waiting for all the group participants, since:

- Keep in mind that in any natural cave artificial light does not exist, and the sun does not usually penetrate much further than the entrance. For this reason, we will give you a helmet with a headlamp (as the small flashlight worn on the forehead is called). This point of light is the only one that will give us the references to move through the cave, so we will have to limit ourselves to carefully checking what we have under our feet step by step.

- Throughout the cave, the terrain will be irregular, and will alternate wider rooms with passages and catholes, sometimes very narrow, through which we will not be able to walk on foot. Therefore, to make a day of caving, get into the idea of crawling for more than one section to reach the starting point.

At Gesportur BTT we love touring the landscapes of our land on this wonderful vehicle that is free of all pollution and that contributes positively to our physical fitness. A good way to stay in shape and enjoy nature and the landscapes of Palencia.

This bicycle is intended for sports on rugged terrain. Also called mountain bike or all-terrain bike (MTB), it will take you to new terrain that you will enjoy from another perspective while doing a healthy sport. We carry out BTT routes of different levels and duration, creating different types of routes according to the experience or level of our clients. Even families with small children will be able to enjoy the environment and the activity.

Rappelling is one of the techniques that will be most useful to learn since you can apply it to many of the adventure activities that you want to practice. At Gesportur we teach you from the base how to descend on different terrains without risking your safety or that of the rest of the members of the expedition.

You may need to rappel down after a climbing section or to overcome high altitudes during a canyoning descent. In the latter case, it will be very common for the technique to be complicated when being next to a stream of water or under a strong waterfall. Don't lose your nerve because we will help you control the situation:

- You will be strongly secured to a rope, with specific knots and carabiners for outdoor activities. It will be your main point of support when you lower yourself to the ground.

- The rappelling may be assisted by another person who will be the one who will manage the length of the rope until you reach flat ground. However, your role does not have to be passive since you can go down, resting your feet against the wall (if it exists), to control your speed more precisely.

Sailing in a canoe surrounded by the tranquility that the river provides us is one of the reasons that we have found at Gesportur to offer you our canoeing itineraries in the areas of influence of the province of Palencia.

Boarding a light boat, we will be in a controlled water environment, in the absence of currents or dangers, which guarantees a development of the activity in which it is almost impossible for any mishap to occur. As for the need for preparation prior to the expedition, it is not necessary either, although, of course, you will count on us for a small training on:

- How to use the paddle correctly: if you decide to use a two-seater boat, both passengers must be coordinated to row and move in the direction you want.

- Basic safety measures: you will wear a life jacket and the canoe is quite stable so it will be difficult for any problem to arise. Still, we will discuss it before your departure.
