Rafting Catalunya

At Rafting Catalunya our thing is adventures in the Pyrenees. From the Pallars Sobirá region and near the banks of the Noguera Pallaresa we will explore all its possibilities through:

- Rafting descents: the most complete in the surroundings of Sort since our proposal is based on three different routes depending on the time of day you want to do them or if you want to spend the entire day on the raft jumping rapids between white waters.

- Canyoning at all levels: we work in all the canyons of the Pyrenees, knowing their classification in advance to advise you on which of them you are really prepared for.

- Horse riding routes: for periods of one hour or 120 minutes with the possibility of bringing ponies in the group for younger children who are not yet old enough to reach the saddle.

- Quad excursions: with the peculiarity that we abandon closed circuits and go out into the open countryside between Pyrenean trails wrapped in deep mountain landscapes.

- Paintball games: in settings that maintain their natural character as in all our activities.

- Bungee Jumping: so that you do not miss the most extreme emotions available among the disciplines that make up active sports.

The region of Pallars Sobirá is popular for its ravines, which has made Rafting Catalunya one of the activities that have gained the most prominence in our catalog. In addition, there are sections of varying difficulty, which is always a good alternative to incorporate into your vacation regardless of the profile of the group you are part of:

- Initiation ravines: they do not have any complexity in any of the points that we will address. Within this case are the Berròs Ravine as well as the Sant Pere or Estarón ravine between the towns of Llavorsí and Escaló. The latter has a rappel that exceeds 40 meters so, although it can be done without problem, it is better to leave the vertigo at home.

- Medium level descents: here we can decide between Viu de Llevata, Erta or the Gurb Ravine that will bring us closer to Tremp allowing us to appreciate places in the Pyrenees where nature survives unaltered.

- Improvement canyoning: those who are used to canyoning can ask us for the most complex descents. We will take you to Unarre, the Barranco del Infierno or the Los Espones in the Vall Fosca where the vegetation reaches high levels of lushness.

The Noguera Pallaresa river represents the best opportunity for a truly exciting rafting descent, which is why at Rafting Catalunya we have specialized in accompanying you along its channel from the town of Sort.

We have established a total of four sections that are distinguished by their length and thus their intensity. Any of them can be done within the season of this activity, which runs between mid-March and ends in the middle of October. The available itineraries are:

- Journey from Llavorsí to Sort: we organize it during the mornings and it extends for 18 kilometers in which you will go on the raft in the company of the instructor.

- Starting in Baro and ending in Figuereta: section that amounts to 22 kilometers and is available in the afternoons. The dynamics are the same, the group will use the inflatables and there will be an instructor in each of them.

- Between Llavorsí and Figuereta: this time it is a descent to which we have to dedicate the entire day as it consists of 42 kilometers. Therefore we will take a break to have a picnic.

With the exception of the one-day activity, we usually spend around 3 hours finishing each tour. Keep in mind that those of you who are going to get on the raft must know how to swim.
