Rafting Catalunya

In Rafting Catalunya our thing is the adventures in the Pyrenees. From the Pallars Sobirá region and in the vicinity of the Noguera Pallaresa riverbank, we will explore all its possibilities through:

- Rafting descents : the most complete in the surroundings of Sort since our proposal is based on three different routes depending on the time of day you want to do them or if you want to spend the whole day on the raft jumping rapids between white waters.

- Canyoning at all levels : we work in all the canyons of the Pyrenees, previously knowing their classification to advise you on which of them you are really prepared for.

- Horseback riding : for spaces of one hour or 120 minutes with the possibility of taking ponies in the group for the youngest children who are not yet old enough to get to the saddle well.

- Quad excursions : with the peculiarity that we leave closed circuits and go out into the open between Pyrenean trails surrounded by deep mountain landscapes.

- Paintball games : in settings that maintain their natural character as in all our activities.

- Bungee Jumping : so that you don't miss the most extreme emotions available among the disciplines that make up active sports.

The Pallars Sobirá region is popular for its ravines, which has made Rafting Catalunya one of the activities that have gained more prominence in our catalog. In addition, there are sections of varying difficulty, which is always a good alternative to incorporate into your vacation regardless of the profile of the group you are part of:

- Initiation ravines : they do not have any complexity in any of the points that we will address. Within this case are the Barranco de Berròs as well as that of Sant Pere or Estarón between the towns of Llavorsí and Escaló. The latter has a rappel that exceeds 40 meters so, although it can be done without problem, it is better to leave the vertigo at home.

- Medium level descents : here we can decide between Viu de Llevata, Erta or the Barranco de Gurb that will bring us closer to Tremp allowing us to appreciate places in the Pyrenees where nature remains unchanged.

- Advanced canyoning : those who are used to canyoning can request the most complex descents from us. We will take you to Unarre, the Barranco del Infierno or Los Espones in the Vall Fosca where the vegetation reaches high levels of leafiness.

The Noguera Pallaresa river represents the best opportunity for a really exciting rafting descent, that is why at Rafting Catalunya we have specialized in accompanying you along its channel from the town of Sort.

We have established a total of four sections that are distinguished by their length and therefore their intensity. Any of them can be done within the season of this activity that runs between mid-March and ends in mid-October. The available itineraries are:

- Journey from Llavorsí to Sort : we organize it during the mornings and it lasts for 18 kilometers in which you will go on the raft in the company of the instructor.

- Starting in Baro and ending in Figuereta : section that goes up to 22 kilometers and is available in the afternoons. The dynamics are the same, the group will use the pneumatics and there will be an instructor in each of them.

- Between Llavorsí and Figuereta : this time it is a descent to which we have to dedicate the full day as it consists of 42 kilometers. So we will take a break to have a picnic.

Except for the one-day activity, we usually spend around 3 hours to finish each tour. Keep in mind that those of you who are going to get on the raft must know how to swim.
