Senda y roca is specialized in hiking and climbing routes through various areas of the Spanish geography such as Guadarrama, Pyrenees, Picos de Europa, Gredos and Cantabrian Mountains.

Our activities also have their variants such as mountaineering, ascents, trekking, skiing.

If what you want is to leave our borders to practice these sports, we also organize activities special activities in the Alps, Atlas ...

All our guides have extensive experience in all sports related to the mountains, so professionalism is one of our basic pillars along with the safety and closeness with which our monitors work.

Some of the areas where our routes are developed are:

• La Pedriza, Peñalara, Fuenfría in Guadarrama, the areas closest to the Madrid capital.
• Ascents and hiking in the Sierra de Gredos, a beautiful environment without leaving the center of the peninsula.
• Ascents in the Pyrenees such as Aneto, more extreme landscapes for which we move to the north of the country.
• Picos de Europa and Cantabrian Mountains, must-see spots for hikers within our geography.

Practice climbing through any of the Spanish or world mountain ranges, the Senda y Roca teams adapt to your preferences and will accompany you wherever you want to make ascents.

We follow routes for amateurs and beginners in this sport. We provide you with the material you need for your practice and we teach you the basics if you are new to climbing. In this case we will start with easy ascents that do not require very high physical preparation.

We propose different places to practice climbing in Spain:

- Guadarrama: where we meet Cuerda Larga, for example, or we can get to La Pedriza to have one of the first contact sessions with this modality.

- Pyrenees: we can try to get to Aneto, or climb through the Monte Perdido and Ordesa Park choosing the appropriate level.

- Gredos: there await us, among other peaks, La Covacha or the Garganta de Bohoyo.

- Cantabrian Mountains and the Picos de Europa: choose if you prefer to visit Torre Bermeja or El Espiguete, among other proposals.

Practice hiking and mid-mountain routes with our specialized staff for any place in the Spanish geography that you like, Senda y Roca organizes your personalized excursion.

We work on 3 main levels on the difficulty of the itinerary to be carried out:

• Low level: excursion we do on slopes below 500 meters. You only need to be in good physical shape to participate in any of the expeditions that are organized. The route will last about 4 hours that will depend on the itinerary we follow and how many hikers are in the group.

• Medium level: includes slopes up to 1000 meters and with a duration of more than 4 hours, so it is recommended for people used to hiking or long daily walks.

• High level: walks on slopes greater than 1000 meters, so previous experience in mountaineering is ideal for practicing at this level. They are routes that will take us more than 6 hours.

Choose which level you are interested in, the area of Spain where you want to do the route and our guides will accompany you.

A healthy way for the members of your work team to get out of the tension and alertness of the day-to-day routine is a route through nature. Breathing the clean mountain air, listening to no more than animals and the wind, walking among plants ... Everything leads to relaxation and the creation of a relaxed atmosphere. If you prefer something more exciting that gives rise to many comments and exchange of experiences and feelings between colleagues, perhaps climbing could go well for you. From the Pyrenees to the Sierra del Guadarrama, any place is good to get lost among its roads, paths, routes and mountains. We can even go abroad.
