Escuela de Surf Mobile

The Surfmobile school located in Cantabria, is an excellent option to start and immerse yourself in the world of surfing. You can practice this sport enjoying the best waves in a unique and natural setting.

It is run by Jose Ruíz de Salazar Echevarría, instructor federated by the surf school, with whom you will have all the guarantees and security to learn this sport successfully and without risks.
The classes will take place on Luaña (Cóbreces) beach , a unique and impressive place that has waves throughout the year. If you are from outside Cantabria, we have a very interesting offer of accommodation plus surf lessons .

The duration of our courses is 2 hours , being included the material necessary to develop the activity , wetsuit and top quality board, Civil Liability insurance , and we cover the transfer to the beaches . Reservations must be made at least one day before the class.

Our courses are fun and dynamic, we have small groups with a maximum of 8 people and we divide the students by age ranges to facilitate learning and empathy between peers. There is also the individual classes modality for those who want a more personalized teaching.

As an essential requirement, we will ask that the student be over 7 years old and know how to swim.

The courses are divided into two levels, beginner and advanced and improvement:

Beginner, at this level the student will acquire basic knowledge concerning the world of surfing, such as safety, theory about the sea, type of waves, breakers etc.

Advanced and improvement , once the knowledge of the previous level has been successfully passed, students will be able to access this level, deepen and broaden the knowledge acquired and put into practice surfing maneuvers such as cutback, re -entry, floaters etc.

The students will be videotaped in order to help them correct their mistakes.

On days when weather conditions are unfavorable for surfing (due to storms, excess or lack of waves), we have prepared an alternative program in which you will acquire interesting knowledge about surfing with gymkhanas and other recreational activities.
