Club Marítim Altafulla

Club Marítim Altafulla is a sailing school located in Altafulla, Tarragona. At the end of 1972 the Coastal Law forced the school building to be demolished. On June 18, 1977, the school we know today was inaugurated.

Not only is it a great destination to enjoy the Costa Dorada because it is on the beachfront, but it is an excellent opportunity to practice the most popular water sports.

Our school is located in an area of natural interest, due to the mouth of the Gaiá River. With a varied offer of sailing courses, you can also choose between windsurfing and windsurfing classes. to summer camps for the youngest members of the house in the summer where they can do different activities.

Everything that has to do with sports and the sea, at Club Marítim Altafulla we love it, and paddle surfing is also so fashionable that it is unthinkable that you cannot practice it with us.

Currently, yoga is also practiced on SUP boards, an excellent way considering that the sea, and more if it is the Mediterranean, relaxes itself.

In our school you can learn to navigate in any of its forms:

• The Hobie Catsy is perfect for a first contact with the little ones, approximately between 7 and 11 years old. Similar to a catamaran but with the right size for them, it makes a comfortable and fun navigation possible.

• For boys between 6 and 15 years old, we have a type of international sailboat , our Optimist is perfect to start racing in the safest way.

• To continue learning we have the junior sailing skate . Different for not having a rudder, it is a light boat in which your own movement will be in charge of navigation.

• The next step is to go to senior sailing skate. Also with a single crew member and with a single sail, in our club you can practice at any time of the year to learn sailing through one of the most pure.

• If you want to continue experiencing sensations while sailing, your boat is the catamaran . We have two models which offer the highest security and speed to those who already have hours of experience behind them.
