Have you ever tried sailing? At Club Nàutic d’Arenys de Mar we are passionate about the feeling of freedom that comes from sailing. We are a school recognized by the Catalan Sailing Federation and we are always investing in improving to continue offering you the best services adapted to your needs.

We are in the port of Arenys de Mar, Barcelona, and we offer you various options so that you can enjoy a pleasant time sailing, whether coming on your own, alone or accompanied, or by going to one of our sailing class sessions with our instructors.

You can book sessions chosen totally to your liking, and if you have never surfed and what you want is to sign up for our classes, you just have to contact us and we will inform you of everything so that you receive the training you are looking for, at your own pace and according to your requirements.

We give classes adapted for schools, for primary and secondary students, and also classes for all ages.

In addition, we have a restaurant next to our facilities so you can stay and have a drink enjoying the sea and the views.

You like the sea? Do you want to try a different sport? At the D'Arenys Nautical Club, in the port of Arenys de Mar, we have the classes that interest you. No matter what your age and your sailing knowledge, we will teach you both from scratch and from where you know, so that you achieve absolute autonomous handling and control of the boat and can navigate on your own.

Our classes are designed to get you started in the world of the sea and sailing as a sport, so we want to teach you everything you need to know to enjoy trips across the waters.

The courses are developed with activities whose level of difficulty will increase according to your progress, but the idea is that you finish our training being able to navigate alone in complete safety.

We offer independent class sessions so that, if you don't have much time, you can also receive them organizing yourself to your liking, but we also offer complete five-day courses in which you will have time more than enough to learn everything you need.

In addition, as a novelty we have introduced kayak courses for days when the sea is calm.

The coasts of Barcelona are open to you if you are interested in learning windsurfing. Do it with the Club Náutico D'Arenys and you will have access to this discipline from the Port of Arenys de Mar. Here are located our facilities equipped with a port and buildings for social use that will cover everything you can do. missing while you are training.

So that you can establish a good personal base that allows you a long career as a windsurfer, we will face the teaching in several phases:

- Knowledge of the material: although any student is eager to enter the water, it is something that we will still do on the sand of the beach. To handle the equipment correctly, you first have to know what it is made of. The most visible parts are the board and the sail. Combining both will be essential to achieve the balance required to stay on your feet and begin to let yourself be carried away by the currents.

- Practice at sea: both the first attempts and the technical training are carried out in the water, training, rehearsing and correcting errors on the fly since each person is completely different once they face this modality.< /p>

At the Club Náutico D'Arenys our work would not make sense away from the sea, which is why we want to give you a greater connection with the Catalan coast by accompanying you to navigate it on our boats.

Sailing with the club takes place both as part of the urban camps that we prepare for children, as well as for groups and visits of individuals with the following characteristics:

- They are sailing trips with an average time of 2 hours, enough to enjoy the activity but without overloading those people who are not used to it. You can always repeat if you want more.

- Normally we use raqueros. They are light sailing boats that are ideal for those who want to learn to sail. An excursion to any of them becomes a pleasant experience.

- On each boat a monitor leaves with the group. He will take care of the maneuvers during the journey. You can take the opportunity to pay attention to how he executes them to learn how to do it yourself since it will be done in a simple way for everyone. It will also tell you the basic safety measures required on this type of boat.

At the Club Náutico D'Arenys experience has shown us that, when the sea is calm, paddle surfing is the simplest and most fun activity for those who visit us.

Normally you will see the young participants of our urban camps going out sharing a board while you are on the sand of this Catalan beach. You can also access this experience individually with rentals per person lasting one hour. What you need to know is simple:

- At the material collection point we will lend you the equipment. It is made up of a board and a paddle. Although the board has similarities with those used by surfers, they are larger in size. Its advantage is clear: that any individual is able to stand up and maintain balance from the first moment. The oar is what helps us move forward, take a certain direction or turn back to the shore.

- We will give you 60 minutes to make a crossing or row parallel to the coast if you feel safer this way. In case you don't even know where to start, you can ask us for basic instructions before setting out.

The Club Náutico D'Arenys occupies one of the best positions on the coast of Barcelona to try a kayak outing. These light boats represent an important part of the list of activities we offer to members and visitors.

Kayaks are open to everyone, especially children during the urban camps that take place during the school holiday months. Business groups or individual users can also request them with two variants of the same proposal:

- Kayak departure: this is an activity that will take us around 60 minutes, leaving from the base of the Nautical Club. It is led by an instructor who explains the basic technique for sailing in which rowing plays the main role. We will tell you how to hold it correctly and how you should maintain safety once we enter the water.

- Kayak route combined with sailing: it is an excursion that maintains similar characteristics to the previous one. However, in this case we will extend the activities to a total of 2 hours to also offer you a dinghy sailing itinerary.
