El Perro Verde

The Perro Verde is your leisure company in the well-known Sidra Region, in Asturias. We are located in one of the most spectacular environments in northern Spain, due to its wealth landscape and the enormous natural possibilities that are offered to us.

We want to target both children and adults, since we offer different activities in order to adapt to all our clients:

-Thematic activities. Live a day of mystery and fun with your friends and you will spend one of the most enjoyable times of your stay with us. Are you ready to solve the enigma?

-Surf camps. We are located in a favorable place for carrying out this activity since we have spectacular beaches that are eager to be explored by the most daring.

-Multi-adventure camps. Thanks to our location, we can offer different activities that take place in both an aquatic and terrestrial environment.

Hiking, diving, tourism, family activities, gymkhanas...choose what you want, we design your perfect plan.

At the El Perro Verde Rural Hostel we have different themed activities for you to enjoy with your friends:

- The Great Casino Robbery. Spectacular robberies, encrypted safes, security cameras, armed guards, live a real adventure as a thief.

- Survival Horror: Survive the terror and don't let the zombies turn you into one of them

- C.S.I: Criminal Scientific Investigation. Find the clues, analyze the evidence, interrogate the suspects and determine who the murderer was.

- Classic Cluedo: A meeting of select people and a murder. Find out who they are before your life is in danger.

From the El Perro Verde Hostel we want to offer you this year, a new adventure for the little ones and a fun vacation in our Equestrian Camp. An activity designed to enjoy nature, between the sea and the mountains. An activity where we will introduce ourselves to the exciting world of the horse, its care, its characteristics and riding, both at the level of initiation and improvement. In short, an unforgettable experience for the little ones in the house.

Dates:

We will have two camps of 14 days / 13 nights
From July 30 to 13
From July 13 to 27, 2014
(There is also the option to attend for just one week)

Ages:

The ages of the participants will be from 6 to 16 years old.
The children will be divided into groups by age, creating the small, medium and older group.

Place:

The camp will be held at the El Perro Verde Hostel, in San Justo, Villaviciosa.
The El Perro Verde Rural Hostel is a modern hostel, without losing the Asturian rural charm, which is located in the heart of nature. The Hostel has a completely closed property of 4000m2, with a garden area, an area for practicing sports, multiple rooms with beds and bunk beds, bedding (sheets and duvets), a dining room and a multipurpose activity room.

In the surroundings of the hostel we find forests, valleys, rivers and some great beaches to enjoy.

Work team:

To carry out the camp, the Hostel has a work team of professionals qualified in leisure and free time, sociocultural animation and of course a great riding teacher (collaboration with the La Lloraza Equestrian Center)
Each monitor will be in charge of a group of 10 boys and girls and will be under the supervision of the camp coordinator.

Meals:

We will have five meals a day, counting from breakfast to dinner. Meals will be taken at the Hostel, except on days when we have an excursion. For the meals we work with the experience of one of the largest companies in Asturias in catering for children (Catering Cocinar)
We attend to all particular needs regarding intolerances and allergies.


Activities:

In our equestrian camp the most important activity is horse riding. This activity will be carried out in the mornings, for 8 days during the camp.

- A day of initiation to Surfing
- Descent of the Sella - Hiking
- Environmental activities
- Workshops
- Gymkhanas
- Sports
- Body expression - Beach day
- Games
- Evenings
And one night, we will live the experience of sleeping under the light of the moon and the stars, doing bivouac, within the Hostel facilities. (Optional activity)

What do you have to bring:

Things they can bring:

- Mobile phone (the mobile phone will remain in the custody of the coordinator and will be handed over for a while at night for communications with home).
- Money. The money will be collected by the coordinator and will be given to the children when they are going to use it.

Things you cannot bring:

Valuables, music devices of any kind, electronic devices, computer devices, etc.


Medicines:

All medications will be delivered to the camp coordinator, with a complete explanation of their use. The use of medications is completely prohibited without the supervision of the coordinator, without a medical prescription and without authorization from theparents.

Don't be surprised but the most complete English Camp is this summer in Asturias. From the town of Villaviciosa, our linguistic immersion program will take place between July 1 and 8, aimed at participants between 8 and 13 years old becoming fluent in this language.

- Teaching method: it is based on the use of games and activities as a way to communicate in the foreign language. Children need to make themselves understood and understand what is explained to them, so it will not take them long to get used to it, making enormous progress in terms of fluency.

- Accommodation: those registered remain on a full board basis at the El Perro Verde Hostel. Everything you need during these days is covered.

- Activities for everyone and of all kinds: as for sports, we will do surfing and hiking. We will participate in gymkhanas and various dynamics. We will go out to see a winery and enjoy an adventure park. All always with our instructors who express themselves perfectly in English so that your children return home with a noticeable improvement in their level.
