The school remains open all year round, except during the Christmas period.

Kayaks are a very fun water sport, which requires a bit of technique, skill and a lot of fun. We will teach you what is necessary so that the handling of this type of boat becomes so easy for you that you will be glad you came.

At Mar y Ocio Kayaks we are dedicated to the organization of sea kayak routes, in which if something should be highlighted it is the absence of marked paths. The route will have no limits other than those imposed by our own imagination.

This activity can be done from the age of nine. The rental will depend on the availability of the material and weather conditions. When making the reservation it will be necessary to leave some identification document.

Enjoy taking a Light Sailing Course with the team of Marine and Leisure professionals, initiation or improvement. You choose the modality: weekends, continuous, Easter or holidays.

To participate in this type of courses you must be at least 18 years old. From eight years old. The levels range from beginner to advanced and are carried out with Open 5.70 model dinghies. The duration of the course will depend on the chosen modality, as well as the teaching schedules, but normally ranges around 20 hours.

After a theoretical introduction to the basic fundamentals of this sport: rigging, winds, sail trimming, Regaining control of the boat after the capsize!, centerboard and rudder, headings, boat assembly, sailing accompanied by one of our safety boats, return to the marina and disassembly of the boats.

Daily the maneuvers to be performed during the day are explained in the classroom and those from the previous days are reviewed. For practical classes, crews are formed in a proportion of one monitor for every five students, based on the capacity of the boats.

It should be mentioned that the participants rotate in each of the jobs they perform on board (main sheet, headsail sheets, counterweight and rudder) so that they know the different roles they have to play. cover on a boat.
